We had a good experience and this not your typical American style hotel. This is a small part of a residential building. There are exactly 8 rooms for 1-2 people. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and very clean. There is a small reception area with coffee, tea, water, cookies, croissants, and muffins. There is also a small refrigerator and microwave that can be used. We are a family of 2 adults and three teenagers so we had three rooms. The rooms are very reasonably priced in a great location close to the Atocha Train Station, Prado Museum, and Prague Del Retiro. The reception area is staffed only a short time each day but the email communication was good and explained how to enter the building and the hotel area. Keys are left at the desk with your last name.

Clean and comfortable and very accessible to Atocha RENFE. Staff was helpful and attentive, and A/C worked great. Very pleased with experience and hospitality.

Nice and central
It was perfect for a couple of nights. The location is quite central (very close to Atocha). Please note that it is located in a residential building. The is a lift but there are some stairs to reach it.

The hotel is in a Madrid neighborhood and is on one floor of an apartment building so visitors can get The feel of a center city neighborhood. It is very near Atocha Station. People manning the desk are friendly and helpful. Water, juices, milk, coffee, and tea are available to guests in-the reception area. I didn’t like that staff is only in the reception area for part of the day, and our room had just enough room to walk around the bed. The bathroom was average in size and there was a place to hang clothes.

Very sparse. Had to carry luggage up some stairs. Packaged croissants and muffins for breakfast. All dry. Went out for breakfast. Poor WiFi

Dear Cheryl, Sorry for the inconveniences. Is true that to arrive to the elevator, you have some stairs. But we would like to aclare that we haven't a breakfast, we have a coffee corner where you can take something, free of charge, like a present that the company give you. You can find more things, cookies, cereals, te, coffee, milk, juices, etc. Regards!

The property was fine but it CANNOT be recommended for anyone arriving after 10pm because staff do not live on site and no-one answers the phone. I had notified of my arrival after 9pm but after a long day made longer by delays in my flight I arrived just after 10pm to find myself and my luggage standing on the street unable to get in. Fortunately someone came out of the building and I could slip in. After that it was fine but...!

Dear guest, We have not breakfast. You can see this when you do the reservation. (No meals include). We have a coffee corner, where you can take croissants, muffins, cookies, cereals, te, coffee, milk, juices, etc. We haven't bread. We are a Hostel, we haven't reception 24 hours. But if you need something you can contact with us by phone, we leave you this information in the reception, inside your room, and in the emails that we send you before your arrival. Regards!

It was awful checkin process. The lady at reception could not speak English at all. She got so upset and start yelling and using google translate to communicate. I felt humiliated by her. She kept rolling her eyes and getting sassy in a nasty way. No breakfast as the claimed the price comes with breakfast. So it was untruthful. The room is very small.

Nice stay in easy to find location
Good value and good location...close to train and downtown. Unit was smallish but serviceable for two. Hosts were helpful. Wifi was great, shower was good and area was quiet.

The staff was very helpful while we were there, but it was somewhat challenging to connect with them via email. It ended up causing no major problems though. Also, I recommend that they advertise a snack bar versus complimentary breakfast. They provided prepackaged croissants and muffins, which ended up being a nice snack on the go but different from what most hotels refer to when they reference breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I would give this supposed bed and breakfast a good review for cleanliness. It was also close to the train station and to some museum, only pros. The beds were not so comfortable and it supposedly included "breakfast", if you consider that, to have some bread packed in plastic bags, milk, and some bad cereal. Honestly for $80 that I paid a night I could've gotten something with real food. They should go to a really good bed and breakfast that I stayed in Rome called Gli Artisti and get some tips on how a real "bed & breakfast" should be.

For this reason, we never said that we had had this.We know the difference, thanks for your advice. We have a place to eat somthing, FREE. Your price was only for the room, and if you had said something to us, we could had gave you the things that you need, but we never had this information. The staff were ultra friendly and helpful, sharing the common area was different but no big inconvenience . It was very quite and close to everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Small hotel, small but comfortable and clean rooms; friendly staff; hot and cold drinks and magdalenas available when you want. Good price.The slight downside is that it is a little out of the main tourist centre, 10-15 mins walk, or a tube ride. If you want a nice cheap place but don't feel the need to be pampered too much, this is a good choice.

It's an okay hotel with ok service, nothing special. The 'breakfast' were mini muffins, biscuits and croissants which we were able to take at any time (for breakfast or not). There were also juices and milk in the fridge for us to take (free of charge). The problems we had was that the bathroom door was a sliding door that did not close nor did it have a lock, and we had to clean our cups (provided by the hotel) in our bathroom sink as there were no sink in the lounge area. The room was small but reasonable for the price we paid but we could hear others as the walls were thin. It's an okay place to stay for few days but more than that might irritate you.
