Great location. Nice physical space. Service experience was mixed - definitely not what one expect from a five star hotel.

Excellent hotel, in pleasant area close to metroPosted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: The room, staff and swimming pool.
Location: Quiet, not right in the centre, but handy for the metro. We ate mainly in the centre, but there are supermarkets nearby, hotel staff gave directions.
I planned an Easter city break to Spain with my teenage daughter. I wanted a hotel which was comfortable, handy for getting to the city centre, easily accessible from the airport, and had a heated pool which we could use for free all day. It took a bit of research, but I found all this in the Santo Mauro in Madrid. It fulfilled all the criteria and more. Felt like a luxury break, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel in the Chamberí area.Posted Apr 9, 2015
Historic with a mix of modern, right in the center of Madrid. Walking distance from Paseo de la Castellana and Serrano for those who like shopping.

Beautiful placePosted Feb 13, 2015 on Hotels
Very nice place and good mannered stuff! Went with a 6 month old baby so used a large room with sofa, etc. All very good, only minor comment is that the window of the toilet was letting a fair amount of cold air in, so it was a bit cold, oh well we had a great stay anyway.

L'hotel est très bien localiséPosted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: L"emplacement, le decor
Cons: Wifi, petit dejeuner
Location: Quartier tres calme et residentiel proche des botiques de luxe( 10 min de marche max)
Séjour excellent. Le petit dejeuner ne justifie pas son prix. Le wifi est payant

Very good hotel can be even betterPosted Nov 3, 2014 on Hotels
Beautiful hotel and grounds. Great Location. Spacious rooms. Cordial and attentive staff. Need to work on the room service menu, and quality. Breakfast should be a la carte not just 33 euro whatever you order, or at least have a buffet and an a la carte menu, but the current set up is silly. Internet should be included in the rooms instead of being charged extra. Quite ridiculous and petty seeing that rooms are not cheap relative to other Madrid hotels. Finally there were almost no english channels. Disney was in spanish which was obviously a problem when you have kids. Should have a much better variety of english channels. Overall a very good facility with a lot going for it but needs to fix some of the little issues to be considered a truly great one.

Fabuloso!Posted Mar 12, 2014 on Hotels
Estamos absolutamente encantados.
