Great decision!

Staying in this place made our trip: it was in a great location, near lots of wonderful restaurants and walking-distance from everything we wanted to do in the city. It was also wonderful to have the extra room an apartment afforded--and especially to have a kitchen and fridge.

Apart hotel Blume Cruz

Posted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: The staff was helpful and Monica waited for our arrival and was kind enough to give us a map and some directions.
Cons: no comment
Location: puerta del sol, discoteques, restaurants, etc.
The place would be nice if located in different neighbourhood. The noise and music goes on and on all night loong. There are lots of drunk, ladies of the night and discoteques all over the place. The parking is underground and two blocks away. The phone and internet did not work. Overall, it's ok for people that do not mind noise but for an adul couple like us absolutely not. You can not sleep!!! We had to take this hotel since at the time there were many events going in Madrid and we only needed to stay a few hours before taking the plane home, but those few hours were torture.

As Long as Sleep Isn't a Priority

Posted Mar 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
The facilities were exactly what we were looking for, 2 bedrooms and a living room with a pullout coach, and the location was excellent, within very short walking distance of both Plaza Mayor and Puerta Del Sol... In Theory At Least. If you are planning on enjoying the Madrid nightlife and getting minimum sleep then it is fine. But if you are a family than you need to be aware that any room facing a street will suffer from constant, loud noise from pedestrians until about 6:00 AM. The walls in the apartment also seem to be paper thin so any noise within the building, which in our case involved construction that started up at about 8:30 AM it will seem like it is right next door even if it is several floors away or even in the next building. That narrow 2.5 hour window represented the only good sleep we were able to get during our vacation. But for those for whom sleep isn't a top priority, in other words those intending to be out with the younger (and young at heart) citizens of Madrid at the clubs until 6:00 AM the rooms are reasonably sized with good closet space. There are several good options for eating, whether enjoying tapas or a full meal, within easy walking distance. The central location makes a trip to the Prado or Retiro as easy as one to Templo Debold or the Palace.

I would stay there again!

My mother, daughter and I stay there for the Christmas holidays. We arrived in the dark so it was very hard to find, but once we did we were very happy! This apartment is in the city center, close to trains and shopping. Very clean, well kept apartment with plenty of room!! Great way to stay in Madrid. California, USA
