“A++ Great Service.”

Centrally located and near every must see city sight. Their service was great. They provided us with a map and explaination of all most see locations along with best way to get there. They also helped us by making reservations for us at some of the nicest restaurants along with a reservation at a flamenco show in Madrid. We loved using their free wifi internet to communicate with family back home. But the best thing I liked about them was using their late check out for only 40 euros, it allowed us to prepare for our next stop in Spain. Their air conditioning in the room was wonderful and the place looked BRAND NEW. A++ We will be going back to this hotel for our next trip to Madrid.

“Best all around hotel”

Staff spoke good English, very helpful with maps and metro guidance. 4 star hotel but felt like 5 star to us. Laundry is expensive don't have them do it. Location was great 5-10 min from puerta del sol and plaza mayor. 10 min to main train station. when arrive from airpot take the yellow bus to atocha (renfe) than take metro to hotel or just walk, it's 10 min straight shot to hotel but it's up hill. Lots of Catalonia hotels so make sure you go to Calle atocha 36. Eat breakfast everyday at la mallorquina, best cafe/pastry shop I've ever been to in my life! We had a dual shower w/ heavy rain feature and wand. Best shower I've ever used.

“Atocha #2”

Another refurbished hotel (2011). This is one of two Catalonia hotels on Calle Atocha and one of 6 in Madrid. Nice wood paneling through out, with new furnishings and a very modern bathoom. A very nice hotel. Not much happening in the bar dinning area, and that was kind of basic and plain.

Good location in the center of Madrid. Clean, modern hotel with large bathroom and comfortable European size room/bed. 5 min walk to Plaza del Sol and Plaza Mayor, and tapas restaurants and shopping. Metro station right there. 10-15min walk to the Atoche. Wonderful, delicious bakery across the street. 20Euro cab ride to the airport. Overall, happy with the hotel.

“New, clean, centrally located hotel”

New, clean, centrally located hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Only issues: A/C issues when heat needed, room was rather cold; no coffee maker but there is one coffee shop just across the street; no bathrobe or slippers (slippers needed as the wooden floors are rather cold).

Great location; quiet, clean, spacious room, good price but breakfast was not included. Great pillows and blankets, comfortable beds. No coffee maker. Would stay there again..
