Solid choicePosted Oct 9, 2014
Although Atocha is not the most charming street in Madrid, it is a great location and the hotel more than makes up for the neighborhood. Stylish, clean, great staff and loved the bathroom with rain shower. One request would be for coffee maker in room.

Pleasantly surprisedPosted Jun 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Arrived from Alicante by train and decided to walk to hotel from station. The walk is longer than expected, especially going uphill the hotel street. Within minutes I checked in and took the lift to my room. Wow, it was a very nice modern room you only see in movies. The room is just right in size, but all looked immaculate, from floor to ceiling. I am a light sleeper and was worried about traffic noise since my room was only in 2nd floor. But the windows were fitted with layers of doubled glazed glass that made the room like a recording studio. I selected this hotel for its proximity to the Casa Patas Live Flamenco restaurant (check it out for excellent flamenco dance and music at 32 euro). It was a 1 minute walk, but soon to discover how close hotel is to Plaza Mayor. I only stayed one night so at 7 a.m. I took a taxi to airport (flat fee 30 euro) for about 30 minutes.

Clean, comfortable room in a great locationPosted Jun 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
3-minute walk to the Plaza Mayor which is a central point for all the sites. The metro station is at the end of the block but we ended up walking most everywhere. All the sites are within a 25 minute walk of the hotel - and that's a conservative estimate. Felt safe on the hotel's street. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Hotel, Great LocationPosted May 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and really enjoyed ourselves. It was our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a larger room for free. The room was modern, clean, had working wifi, and nice bathrooms. The location was fantastic and I would recommend the hotel to anyone traveling in Madrid.

Good location at reasonable pricePosted May 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very good location within short walk to Plaza Mayor and all the taverns. Not as fancy as some, but completely satisfactory. Staff was helpful and the hotel was small enough that you got personal service. I'd stay here again.

Excellent hotel!Posted Mar 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Clean, modern, recently remodeled. I traveled all over Spain, stayed in probably 12 different hotels, and this was one of the best hotels I stayed at and EASILY the best shower!

central location with modern amenitiesPosted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: Modern, clean, quiet, central location. Reasonably priced
Location: down the street from Plaza Mayor and the Atocha train station and museum districts is down the street the other way. The location was perfect for us!
We spent first 2 nights of our trip in Spain in Madrid so this hotel was really our introduction to the country. The front desk staff was lovely, the room was comfortable with great free wi-fi. A quiet room in a perfect central location- an easy walk to Atocha, the museums, Plaza Mayor, all the sights we wanted to see. We didn't take advantage of the hotel's restaurant as there were so many restaurants close to the hotel we wanted to try.

Pros: I like its modern amenities, its great shower and excellent location.
Location: Close to major attractions, including the Prado Museum.
This hotel is modern, comfortable, and easy to deal with, especially for an American who speaks halting Spanish. It is within walking distance of the train station, near major attractions, including the Prado and Plaza Mayor.
