Best value 5 star

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Everything. Club lounge first rate.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Excellent downtown location. Close to all the main attractions.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Exceptional value for money. If you choose this property pay the difference for the Red Level experience it is well worth the upgrade.

A fantastic experience

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Our family's two rooms were extremely luxurious, including the bathroom spaces. The hotel was well located on Plaza Colon, a quieter area of town, although there is a Hard Rock Cafe adjacent to the premises. The rooms are very quiet, with triple paned windows. The breakfasts were abundant. The bellhop remembered my name for the entirety of our stay. There is a decent gym on the second floor that was only used by our family.

Excellent choice!!!

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: We loved the whole atmosphere and service. Also their outdoor restaurant/bar called Martini was super fun.The hookah was amazing but a bit pricy $120.
Cons: If you are a family of 4 which we were to get a connecting room its considered an upgrade. We were never told that and had separate rooms.
Location: Perfectly located near the shopping streets, great restaurants and about a 10 minute taxi ride to everything.
This hotel was an excellent choice for us as it was right in the heart of the city. It was very nice and the room was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was amazing! Great value for the price.

Excellent location!

We had a one night layover in Madrid and this was the perfect place to stay to explore the city with limited time. We were centrally located and close to amazing shopping and restaurants and bars. The staff was helpful in making a dinner reservation for us at ten con ten, a new hot spot around the corner. Also delicious breakfast included! Great time all around!

Great Service but Terrible Room

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Service and buffet.
Cons: Room needs refresh and a more comfortable bed
Location: Location was outstanding
The hotel was not as depicted on the Expedia website. Our jr suite had a view of a staircase and the room seemed to be in desperate need of new paint and overall refresh. In the bathroom some corners showed layers of mildew/rust and one of the bathroom showers did not drain properly so when you took a shower it flooded the room. The only highlight were the staff and breakfast buffet. The staff were very service oriented and professional.

Great Hotel in Madrid

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Location, quality, cleanliness and facilities.
Cons: Can't think of anything else we could have asked for!
Location: Good access to all main sights and museums in Madrid. Cocktail bar and Hard Rock cafe in the hotel. Quality of rooms was excellent.
Fantastic hotel which was everything we could have wanted. We booked the Premium Red Level rooms and were not disappointed - well worth the extra. Great location and excellent staff. Cocktail bar in the hotel was also well worth a vista. All in all a really enjoyable few days and would definitely visit and book this hotel again.

Great Stay at Great Hotel in a Great City

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Service, Staff willigness, Location
Cons: More Space
Location: Location fantastic. Walk around is a pleasure (Gran Via, La Castellana, Cibeles,). 2 Fantastic Restaurant walking Distance: El Paraguas Ten Con Ten
Quite nice experience at this hotel; My wife and me had a special room with Red Level Service. Staff at Red level Floor was extraordinary, friendly and colaborative. The snack and drink facility at Red level floor was excelent. The room, even the small space, was nice, with all service, good A/C, light system etc. Breakfast is good enough, Not Great. And Finally the location, which is excelent and convinient. I would surely recommend Melia FĂ©nix to Friends.
