“not impressed”

The staff was helpful & nice and proximity to airport was great. Other than that, the hotel is nowhere and there's no way to get from the hotel anywhere but the airport. The "fitness room" was a basement closet with a treadmill that appeared to be a few decades old. The restaurant was way over- priced and the food was not edible. The computers in the rooms were old and outdated and the internet in the rooms was weak to non-existent. There are lots of hotels near the Madrid airport. Stay in one of the other ones!

“Airport Shuttle is TERRIBLE”

When you arrive at the airport you HAVE to call the hotel to be picked up. After we called, it took another 35 minutes for a van to arrive which is outrageous. The front desk was very unhelpful. The shuttle vans to the airport only run in the morning, 40 minutes apart! We stayed here for the convenience to the airport but it was NOT CONVENIENT.

“Pleasant surprise near airport”

Good quality of service & facilities. Very quiet even though it is near the busy Madrid airport. High tech glass and chrome decor unusual but nice. Great shower, once we figured out how to use it! Price was reasonable for location. Only German stations on TV was disappointing; no Spanish, no English channels.

“Disappointng stay”

While this hotel calls itself a 4 star hotel in my professional opinion it is 2 star at best. The crew lack the concept of service which is a bit of an oxymoron.

“very convinient airport hotel in Madrid”

nice hotel, close to the airport, 5 minutes walking distance from the metro. breakfast is ok, but the bakery bewtween the hotel and the metro station serves much better coffee and bakeries. the hotel hall had quite a smoking smell, but the room was clean with no smell problems.

“Left in the Dark”

I was directed to hotel shuttle (late night flight) and they dropped me off at the wrong hotel(names similar). The hotel contacted the correct hotel and was told I would need to get a taxi or walk to the public bus stop (12:00AM). I tried to call the hotel myself and no one answered. The the security man at the first hotel told me it happens a lot. He stayed with me until a taxi picked me up. When I finally got to the correct hotel, the hotel clerk was not very curtious or helpful. I also met a couple, at the hotel, that had this same thing happened to them.

Traveler's tip

Regarding the hotel shuttle that stops at various hotels, make sure you are dropped off at the correct hotel or you will be "left in the dark" by the Hotel High Tech Madrid/Aeropuerto.

“Nice hotel, so so location”

I got stranded by my airline in Madrid for a night and I found this hotel on Expedia. I was in a time crunch so I couldn't really do a great deal of research. The hotel was close to the airport so that was convenient and I was quite happy with the room and the service. The location was not great though. Not close to anything other than the hotel.

“Very close to Madrid Airport”

This hotel is excellent if you are looking for a place nearby the airport. Less than 5 minutes by car. The main issue is to find the hotel; will not be easy without having a GPS with you. Overall the hotel is great. The room included a laptop and internet. The room and bathroom are modern. Parking is on the basement of the building and has an extra charge.
