Great hotel for business tripsPosted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: As above
Cons: Bigger pool, staff could be a bit happier, breakfast pricing should be reviewed to be more like €7-10 given that it's self service and not table servi
Location: Good American style burger diner just down the road
This hotel was pretty good for a business trip as it had free Wifi, a gym and reasonably good breakfast facilities. My only points that stopped me giving it five stars was The staff were OK, but only one guy was really good and hospitable The steak I ordered from the room service menu (the only steak on the menu) was different on two different days. The first day was amazing, thr second day a completely fatty horrible cut. The pool is much smaller in reality than it looks in thr pictures. I'm a pretty strong swimmer but not Olympic standard and I could only manage three strokes before needing to turn so I got pretty dizzy! The breakfast was quite expensive for a self service breakfast facility. Other than the points above though, it really was very nice for a business trip as the free wifi and good quality gym make the trip when you've finished work far more enjoyable.

The hotel is in a good location as not too far from the airport & does provide a free airport shuttle service which was handy. Good location in the business precinct. Not clise to mafrid city centre, although taxi & metro services are good. Very clean hotel, gd breakfast room. The pool is quite small & outdated.

Nice hotel, a little bit far from centerPosted Jun 30, 2013
Cons: less perfume, better English
Location: did not find any good place to go near hotel, district is not the best definitely
clean and nice hotel, they are using perfume a little bit too much near reception, and should improve staff's English. Forgotten master key in the room, probably after cleaning surprised a lot, but looks like receptionist did not understand whole problem when I have returned it.

Holiday InnPosted Jun 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is spot on like all Holiday Inns. Excellent beds and wonderful staff. This particular hotel is two tube journeys from the center of Madrid and therefore not great if you want to visit the center. The Courtesy bus to the airport only goes in the morning and evening so if you have a flight mid day (as we did) then its a taxi and about 20mins. We also had there Menu Executivo which was very good and good value including bread, wine and IVA. We choose this hotel for the pool. Which was great. Warm and large enough for a proper swim. However it was closed Sunday afternoon and evening and had swimming lessons on Wednesday so plan you visit. Free safe in the room and nice cold minibar to keep your milk in for a proper cup of tea!

A nice hotel for a family stay, great value and well located to take the metro to city center. Very polite and helpful staff, largish rooms even with an extra bed. Nice area around gives you a feel of Madrid life away from the tourist areas. Small bars and cafes with what the Madridistas actually serve as complimentary tapas- over all very enjoyable

Great staff. Confirm gym and shuttle hours.Posted May 27, 2013
This would have been a great hotel IF the airport shuttle actually operated on weekends and evenings, and IF the gym/sauna that the hotel advertises was open on the weekends! We went there so we could use the gym before taking the shuttle to the airport... it happened to be saturday and neither were available to our surprise (and contrary to the expedia search results)! Fortunately, the staff, food, and the rooms were all great.

Good hotelPosted May 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall te hotel and staff were very nice, a very clean hotel. There is not much to do near the hotel, and is about a 20minute metro ride from city centre. I was very happy, and the staff were helpful as I didn't speak a word of Spanish

Good value for moneyPosted Feb 16, 2013
Cons: Sound from neighboring rooms
Positives - Appears new, compact but yet provides for specifics. Comfortable rooms. Good Hygiene and housekeeping. Middle of 2 metro stops but walkable. Line 5 travels to the city centre. Supermarket close by. Very good italian restaurant La Tagliatella nearby. WiFi is free and good speed. Located between airport and city centre. Negatives - Walls do not insulate sounds from neighbouring rooms. Breakfast not offered as a part of rate on net but is available to buy at the hotel.
