Nice hotel, not too far from airport

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Comfortable, full fitness, restaurants within walking distance
Cons: Shuttle to airport in am, reliable wake-up calls
Nice hotel, up to standards you would expect in the US. Breakfast is expensive, but it is a full buffet. Asked for wake-up call, because my battery was low on the mobile and lost adapter, but did not get it. Luckily my phone chimed a few times before the battery died and I woke up. Hotel shuttle does not run early in the am, so factor in about 20 euros more for a taxi to airport.

Dear Customer, The hotel has been recently renovated , I regret that the decor was not to his liking and the Hotel- Airport route either. Best Regards

The perfect choice!

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: One of the first in-room coffee pots I saw since we left the US. The beds were nice & soft, the room was clean & spacious, the bathroom was beautiful.
Cons: Because it was my birthday, we chose to go down the street for a local Spanish experience. We found it 2 blocks away at La Cuina! Even though it was 1
Location: We went down the street to La Cuina. At 11pm the chef opened his kitchen & made the best croquettes & sangria we have ever had! EAT HERE ITS AMAZING!!
We had a one night layover from Istanbul and chose this hotel not only for its location to a Metro but for the availability of nearby restaurants and bars as well. Although this hotel says it has an airport shuttle, we were unable to get one at night (9pm) or Thursday morning (driver's day off?). The hotel has everything from comfy beds to its own restaurant/bar located within the building. It is located in a lively neighborhood but the room was very quiet.

Nice hotel close to airport

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Generally. The hotel is good value but the DISAPPOINTMENT was that there is no indication on the web or the booking confirmation that the FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE may not be available before 8-45 AM. It added 30 Euros in taxi fare to airport, to my stay. It raises the question "is the free airport shuttle used as a bait?"

good value

Overall was happy but for a non smoking room it really did smell of cigarette. If this smell was absent would have been close to top rating. Couldn't use the pool on weekends and very short hours during the week. Very helpful staff and well located near metro

Pleasant. Not in walking distance to the main attractions but you can easily get there by Metro.

Fantastic Hotel.

I recently went to Madrid for a short stay of 3 nights. I arrived in the hotel to be greeted by a clean (twin bed) room and spacious bathroom. My room was cleaned everyday (including a sunday). I didnt need to see the reception except for checking in and out - which is always a good sign. The hotel was between two metro stops - about a 5 min walk to each. There were a few restaurants nearby, the closest being VIPS. Overall I had a great stay and will be booking to stay in the hotel again in the future.
