Convenient for the sights of Madrid

Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: Low cost, convenient and friendly staff.
Cons: Maybe it would be useful to have a coffee machine accessible for guests for the mornings.
Location: All of central Madrid is on your doorstep.
A low cost hotel convenient for all the sights and for eating and drinking places of which there are so many. Friendly and helpful staff. Modern fittings and cleaned well. Free WiFi. No restaurant for breakfast but a nice cafe a couple of minutes walk away open weekdays and lots of other cafes nearby at the weekend. There are quieter rooms at the back but we stayed street side and noise was not a problem.

Perfect to visit Madrid for a city break

Posted May 16, 2014
Pros: What's not to like! Cheap, amazing quality, brilliant staff.. need i go on?!
Cons: Nothing to report
Location: It's about a 10 minute walk to the centre, Sol, there are small cafes and restaurants nearby, and there is a supermarket just up the road.
I loved this hostel! The staff were exceptionally helpful. Despite my flight being delayed and not arriving until late, the staff were so helpful & could not have done anything more to be accommodating and friendly. The hotel is a block away from Tirso de Molina, on the Metro line, and the hostel is walkable to Sol centre. Lovely place, I'd definitely stay here again!

Comfy stay in a great location

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Water pressure and temperature. Bed and location.
Cons: Helpfulness of staff. Fix community computer and lack of WiFi on the third floor.
Location: Reina Sofia Museum, Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, Bernabeu Standium, and the Prado Museum
The water pressure and amount of hot water was great. Rooms were impeccably clean and the location was great for walking to the cities' sights. The WiFi on the other hand was insufficient at best. Only way to receive a signal was to go down to the second floor (reception floor) since no connections were available on our floor (third floor). The community computer was a netbook that was not working and was again on the second floor. Grocery store just around the corner was a plus as well.

Excellent location, simple but clean hotel

We wanted somewhere really central and clean that would not break the bank and we would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Don't expect luxury but everything else was just fine

A good budget option

Posted Mar 22, 2013
The hotel was located minutes away from Plaza Mayor, Del Sol, Gran Via, El Rasto, metro stops. The staff was freindly and the room was clean and more importantly quiet. The bathroom i.e shower was a little small, but for a hostal this was a good budget choice.

Mother Daughter Weekend Trip

Posted Mar 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Dear Hotel Staff, My daughter and I spent the weekend on March 2, 2013 at your hotel and we absolutely loved it! The location was the best and the staff offered good advice for what to do in such a short time. The Flamenco show they arranged for us was the perfect "real Spanish" experience of our stay. Directions were given on how to get to the Prado, which was a nice walk. Also, our day trip to Toledo was easy due to helpful suggestions from your staff. The bed was comfortable and the en suite bathroom perfect for us. Proximity to the subway was very convenient. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We will definitely return.

Hard to get better for the price and location

Posted Dec 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
Cool, the personal was very friendly, anticipating our needs and giving great and fast solutions for small situations. Could't get better. Price are more than fare, location , super, no need of car, everething is a 2 to 5 minutes walk and when fare, metro, buses and taxis are just there. Again the team working in this hotel are just a great team. Congratulations.
