Pleasant Chueca hostalPosted May 26, 2012
Many gays as well as straights stay in this small hostal on one of the main streets of Chueca, the gay district of Madrid. It is within 3 minutes walking distance to Gran Via and 15 minutes to Plaza del Sol. It is a quiet, very clean and pleasant place to stay at a modest cost. Guest have their own entrance keys and come an go when and as they please.
Worth every penny...Posted May 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
What a great location. Walking distance from the Prado, and there are some many great little bars and cafes surrounding the hostal. Okay the staff is little annoying, they're rude and very hard to communicate with. The room was great though. It was kind of small but really clean and secure. The street noise is pretty bad, but that's only an issue if you sleep with the balcony door open, also you can hear everything in the neighboring rooms. I would recommend odesa, it's certainly worth what we paid...

Good basic hotelPosted Sep 19, 2011
Hotel was quite basic but good value for the price. Staff were friendly enough, they didn't speak any English, but it was easy enough to communicate the essentials. Excellent location. Rooms were very clean and a good size. Rooms were equipped with a few added extras - very effective air con, TV (no English lang channels) and a safe.

Perfect location, very clean, quiet room, rooms are small but have a smart layout. Bathroom fully equipped. In room safe. Flat screen tv with plenty of channels. Definitely can recommend Hostal Odesa.
