Very lovely and well appointed hotelPosted Dec 7, 2013
Cons: It was all excellent
Location: Please! Look on a map or call the hotel. They will help you in every way possible.
Well decorated. INCREDIBLY comfortable bed. A programmable safe in the room. Great flat screen TV. Across from both a metro and a train station (Principe Pio). You can get there from the airport for €2.50 on the train (RENFE). A huge shopping center across the avenue (if you like shopping centers, I don't), and a supermarket next door. Several bus lines right outside take you to La Gran Via, El Corte Ingles, and all the museums. Friendly but formal staff (I asked for a corkscrew - and got one immediately). I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Great place at the right pricePosted Oct 6, 2013
The staff was very helpful. Rooms are clean and modern. LOVE the 2nd floor lounge. Almost like a concierge floor at a high end hotel.

Good location and great servicePosted Aug 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Traveling isn't was it used to be and we all find ourselves victims of rerouting and change of schedule. We arrived at the Acta in the early morning hours of a sunday morning (some 4 hours ahead of time). As soon as the Head of Reception arrived we were constantly updated on our rooms status. All 7 of our rooms were made available to us by 10:30 am. All of us were extremely grateful. Nice room layout and functional bathroom. Professional staff. Overall a good stay.

clean, modern hotel in a convenient locationPosted Jun 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is located across the street from the Principe Pio Metro (subway) station, one transfer from the airport. A shopping centre, including 24/7 grocery and liquor store is across the street. The Palacio Real is about 1 km away and the Museo del Prado is about 3 km away, if you want to walk. The eating places nearby are rather poor, and the hotel itself has no restaurant. There are better eating places at or near the Plaza Mayor (1.9 km away). The river park behing the hotel is a wonderful place to walk, jog or bicycle, especially early in the morning. The hotel is clean and modern, rooms small but comfortable. Noise from slamming doors can be loud. Service was uneven: the young man at the front desk in the evening was very good, but the old guy in the morning was grumpy and not very helpful.

Nice for 1 or 2 daysPosted Jun 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was easy to find in the front of Principe Pio Station. The were very comfortable the best of all the 4 hotels we stayed. But they did not have any refrigerator in the room not even at small one for that reason is not a good place for a long stay. The decoration in the room was nice and modern. The bedroom did not have a full body mirror it only had a small one in the bathroom.
