Excellent staff who made everything comfortablePosted Jun 28, 2015
I stayed at this hotel in April 2015. While I was there, I experienced a dramatic change in my travel plans but the hotel did everything they could to help me and accommodate my needs. Highly recommended, simply because the staff is so friendly and helpful!

Great central locationPosted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: Location, room, staff and service. Also gym, sauna and hot tub although I didn't take advantage of them.
Location: Explore the old city with the old market, churches, alleyways and the tapas, paella, sangria and cold beer in the cafes located on marble walks.
A five minute walk and you are at the train station and also in the heart of the city. You enter the hotel from a red marble side walk and are greeted by helpful front desk staff. Check in was quick and the spacious 8th floor room was very well appointed wiith a large, clean bathroom equipped with shower/ bath, toilet/ bidet. The room was lit from windows on two walls but had black out curtains to keep out the heat and light. The top floor had a gym, sauna, and hot tub overlooking the city. I only saw one person enjoying this facility so it can be your private treat! The city had a charming older quarter, a long forested walk to the science museum and aquarium which was all walkable. Public transport takes you to the beach in 20 minutes where you can put your feet into the warm water or go for a swim and then eat dinner at the many beach restaurants. A beautiful city with many ornate, white buildings and ornate architecture. As always, great squares, fountains and many places to enjoy the sangria and tapas.

good for a stop!Posted May 10, 2015
Pros: room & hotel condition. location if want to stay near atocha.
Cons: staff could have been friendlier.
Location: near sofia reina, and atocha renfe
we booked at del Arte because it's near Atocha to spend our last night before flying off Madrid. it's a 10-15 minute walk from aerobus stand at Atocha. looked like a business hotel. hotel interior conditions looked very well maintained. room was good and spacious.
