“Luxury in Madrid”

This is a superb hotel. The location can't be beat and the rooms were clean,modern and big enough. The hotel is quiet in a very busy section of the city and the staff was outstanding. A hotel like this makes the whole trip better.

“Best deal I've had in Europe”

Clean, stylish, comfortable, amazing location near the Plaza Callao and Gran Via. Breakfast buffet was outstanding and reasonable at 15 EUR. Best shower I have ever had in a European hotel -- and one of the best I've come across anywhere.

“My best ever hotel Stay”

Very "Pleasant Helpful" people contacted me upon my arrival and my departure. Any item I requested to be delivered to my room came "oh so quickly." The central location of this hotel I did not know about until I arrived. I was in walking distance to many attractions such as the Royal Palace, Puerto Del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the heart of downtown. Transportion was only "seconds" away. Great food could be found in the hotel and all over the surrounding area. The room was very clean and modern. I was not expecting a fully marbled bathroom. The only flaw at this hotel was the "Business Center" the computers were old and over used. There were only 2 computers and both key boards needed to be replaced. The letters on the keys were worn off from so much use.

This hotel was very reasonable, clean, and quiet, but centrally located. Got there around noon, and checked-in right away as I was traveling with my grandson and he was very jet-lagged, Beds and linens were comfortable, room small with a decor that is modern and simple. Bathroom clean and very nice. Small refrigerator with juice, beer and water that were free included in room. WiFi was complimentary and worked like I was home. Staff courteous and helpful. Great value for the money.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. Walking distance to major siteseeing spots. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

“A great Stay”

Long before my wife & I arrived at the Preciados, they were great, responding to my emailed questions, and for the entire 7 days of our stay, the hotel staff (and the connected Cafe Varela staff as well) were exceedingly kind and helpful, but I must single out Daniel and Oscar, of the desk staff. They were great! The hotel was exactly as advertised & promised, modern, clean and attractive and we loved every moment we were there. Its location is perfect for a 1st timer in Madrid, very central to everything you will wnat to see. Our complimentary buffet breakfast, was by far the best I have ever had. Not only was there an extraordinary variety of foodstuffs to choose from, but everything was of the highest quality. The wi-fi always worked, if occasionally a bit slow. All in all, Preciados was a great stay....and, the price was very fair.

“Excellent boutique hotel in the heart of Madrid.”

My girlfriend and I travelled to Madrid for 5 nights from Texas and had a wonderful stay in the Hotel Preciados. The hotel is in the heart of Madrid and is superbly located for exploring the city on foot or using the Metro (it is very close to the Callao metro station). Staff are very pleasant and helpful when needed. The hotel is clean and very nicely maintained. The room we booked (a standard double) was a bit on the small size, but essentially nothing unusual for a European city (a few larger rooms are available at a higher price). The room was very comfortable (we slept extremely well each night), and importantly to us, well sound insulated (both from other rooms and the outside when windows are closed). I should note that I did request before arrival, a room on an upper floor (we were on the 4th, which is the top floor for a standard double room), which I am sure helped with exterior noise as calle. Preciados itself is a pleasant, lively little street. An added bonus at the hotel is the complimentary mini-bar in the room. It is stocked each day with a small nunber of beverages, and is truly free! A very unusual feature of this hotel. In summary we really enjoyed our stay in Madrid and the Hotel Preciados definitely helped ensure this was the case.

“Well situated, great atmosphere, home from home!”

Hotel Preciados is a home from home! Friendly, helpful, efficient reception staff willing to walk 10 extra miles. Superb breakfast, excellent restaurant and bar. When we entered the bar for the second time, the (non English speaking staff) knew our room number, we were greeted like long lost family and felt absolutely at home. On the last day we had to leave for the airport at 02:30 and were awakened at 02:00 with a lovely ( gratis) cup of coffee. Also well situated close to the metro and major attractions.
