Pros: Everything!
Location: Plaza Mayor, bar hopping!
We loved the hotel, specially the bed.. Traveling for 2 weeks and sleeping uncomfortably is not the greatest, until we checked in here!

A fabulous Madrid experience

Posted May 19, 2013
Pros: Perfect hospitality, staff politeness: warmth and willingness to make my stay perfect without being over the top.
Location: Unique piazza setting, between Gran Vía and Puerta del Sol, 10 mins walking distance from museums and stunning shopping destinations.
Fabulous experience my first time in Madrid and all the elegance is captured at Preciados. Just wish I could have stayed longer. Everything about this hotel was perfect. I do stay sometimes in five star hotels and can honestly say I found absolutely nothing lacking in Hotel Preciados so the value is excellent: comfortable rooms, speedy service, picturesque location, staff and management, restaurant, truly sumptuous breakfast. All totally superb.

Excellent boutique hotel in the heart of Madrid.

Location: Excellent location for exploring Madrid on foot or via the Metro.
My girlfriend and I travelled to Madrid for 5 nights from Texas and had a wonderful stay in the Hotel Preciados. The hotel is in the heart of Madrid and is superbly located for exploring the city on foot or using the Metro (it is very close to the Callao metro station). Staff are very pleasant and helpful when needed. The hotel is clean and very nicely maintained. The room we booked (a standard double) was a bit on the small size, but essentially nothing unusual for a European city (a few larger rooms are available at a higher price). The room was very comfortable (we slept extremely well each night), and importantly to us, well sound insulated (both from other rooms and the outside when windows are closed). I should note that I did request before arrival, a room on an upper floor (we were on the 4th, which is the top floor for a standard double room), which I am sure helped with exterior noise as calle. Preciados itself is a pleasant, lively little street. An added bonus at the hotel is the complimentary mini-bar in the room. It is stocked each day with a small nunber of beverages, and is truly free! A very unusual feature of this hotel. In summary we really enjoyed our stay in Madrid and the Hotel Preciados definitely helped ensure this was the case.

Pros: The location
Cons: the size of the room
Location: Amazing close to all the sightseeing
The location is super, it is in the heart of Madrid and very close to the touristic and commercial districts, cost wise it is very convenient but the room is too narrow As a conclusion it is very nice hotel

Well worth staying here!!!

Posted Dec 6, 2012
Pros: the staff was fantastic, the rooms were very large, clean, comfortable
Cons: I didn't have one thing that I didn't like about this hotel or our stay here
Location: great location to shops, tapas, restaurants, etc
This hotel is located just minutes from shops, restaurants, etc. Everything you could want to do is located all around this place. The hotel itself was fantastic. The rooms were BIG. Not just by European standards. They were just BIG in general. Immaculately clean as well. I loved the fact that the drinks in the mini bar were included in the price of the room. That way at the end of a day's worth of site seeing when you finally slowed down to realize you might be parched, you weren't paying 7$ (well, actually Euro) for a 2Euro bottle of water. It was one of the small touches that made this place amazing. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was such a joy to stay here that we will make sure to book a room here if we are ever in Madrid again.

Excellent.....but can be noisy at night.

Excellent hotel. Great location, lovely room. Only moan would be found a bit of noise at night as our room backed on to a pedestrian street.
