Great small hotel, ideal location

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Just stayed a night but very impressed. Easy to get to (Metro Sevilla) and only minutes from centre. Staff very helpful, hotel clean, modern and (despite its location) quiet. Good breakfast, have already recommended to family.

Wonderful hotel in the middle of all action!!

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: EVERYTHING!
Cons: Nothing, They were really amazing!
Location: All main attractions, coffee shops, super market, delicatessen place, the mall. In other words - EVERYTHING :)
I came in the early morning, after the flight company lost my luggage. They were super nice and gave us a better room. All rooms are equipped with soaps, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, tooth brush and toothpaste, hair cap and tissues. All came EXTRA handy since we had NO luggage. The hotel has free WIFI and the team (And I mean ALL of them) were super nice and professional. The hotel is close to all main attraction, and has tons of coffee shop just 2-3 mins walk. A great delicatessen is a few mins walk as well, and the bus from the airport is less than 10 mins walk as well. I used only one day of metro pass, which is something kind of unusual in Europe cities. If I ever come to Madrid again, I'll stay in this hotel for sure!!

Nice hotel in the hearth of the city

Posted Nov 16, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast
Location: It's very close to metro station.
The hotel is located in the hearth of the city. Metro station is just 10 meters far from the hotel. The only thinh I dont like about this hotel is breakfast. Sausages and bacons taste very bad and generally we did not delight the breakfast.

Room too small

Posted Nov 12, 2014
The bed was awful. The pillows too small. The door of the bathroom was not solid but transparent so it difficults privacy when the other person was sleeping.

Central location

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: Central location. Staff was very helpful.
Cons: I think the windows were fairly new, but if they could be replaced with soundproof windows, that would have significantly improved the experience.
Location: Easy walk to metro, restaurants. 15-20 minute walk to museums.
We chose Hotel Quatro Puerta Del Sol for the central location and the price. The central location was a plus and a minus. The good part was that the walks to the museums on Paseo de Prado and to the Palace were about the same. The drawback was that the Puerta Del Sol area is noisy all day and all night. We had a lot of street noise, sirens, etc all night long. The hotel was better than okay, but I wouldn't stay in that area again just because of the noise. The other good thing about the location was the proximity to an excellent restaurant (about 100 feet from the hotel, on the side street) which we dined at twice.

Nice hotel conveniently located

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: Location near Sol was convenient to Metro, restaurants, ATM, and was within walking distance of many attractions in Madrid.
Cons: Door locks were hard to open.
The room was not large, but was well arranged and functional.

Pros: Good Bar Food or restaurant in the Hotel. Good selection for breakfast. Parking at front of Hotel at 15 Euros per day was rather expensive. Modern ...

Good location with a pleasant walk to the beach and the town. Close to restaurants and shops.

Overall the hotel was good, on the positives the location is excellent, but the room is quite small and old.
