Posted Apr 12, 2015

Long way from the City and poor basic comforts.Posted Apr 6, 2015
The hotel looks great but is 10 metro stops from the centre (20 minutes). There is a small free shuttle bus but this is often full. The rooms have no free drinking water, wifi is only available by a password which needs updating every time you re-enter the hotel and there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast is €22 per person and is not inclusive through Expedia. All in all, given its out of town location I think they should try much harder to please.

Nice hotelPosted Apr 5, 2015
This hotel was really nice, the service was good, the room was clean and the food at the restaurants were good. I just wish that the shuttle to the city centre ran a little later. If you're into architecture you'll find the floors very interesting.

Nice Hotel, excelent breakfastPosted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: Service, ambient, location
Cons: maybe a little more maintenance because the designs and decor are nice, but harder to maintain in good condition as the normal hotels
Location: Close to the airport, 1.5 blocks away from metro station , 20 minutes in subway to Puerta del Sol
nice ,clean and modern hotel, every floor has different rooms styles, great breakfast ,close from Barajas and very close from Metro Station, definetly I will stay here again and again

More style than comfortPosted Mar 24, 2015
The design concept of the hotel is a great idea and staying there was a interesting experience. The staff were all very helpful. However the room lacked coffee and tea making facilities and the shower leaked so badly the bathroom floor was awash. Breakfast was not included but could be purchased in the restaurant for a set price. This was quite expensive when all we wanted was a cup of tea and piece of toast.

prima voor zakelijk verblijfPosted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: zakelijke sfeer
Goede locatie.

Concept hotel !?!Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: the taster menu, the shuttle bus, the colours
Cons: the architects could have considered the needs of clients more
The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming, the food is excellent, especially the taster menu in the restaurant. The leisure facilities though small, were never crowded. The shuttle bus both to the airport and to the centre of Madrid was really convenient. However we chose this hotel because we were interested in experiencing some of the different designs of top architects. It was this aspect that was disappointing it made us wonder whether architects think of the client when they create. The first room we stayed in was a symphonie in white (8th floor) beautiful to look at but totally impractical. No wardrobes, no drawers, no bedside table, no armchair, no access to the window - and the clean lines totally spoiled by half unpacked bags. The second room we stayed in had a box in a box concept, the bathroom being a clear glass box within the room, no privacy ! and - both of us managed to walk into the glass door as one could not see whether the sliding door was closed or open, another time I was nearly decapitated by my partner opening the sliding door of the shower while I was sitting on the toilet and that door slides across infront of the toilet with no leg room between toilet seat and door. The wash basin is designed to seem to be free floating with the disadvantage that items easily fall of at the back where one expects the basin to be attached to the wall... so wonderful concepts but totally nonpractical. Are there floors designed with the client in mind?
