Good locationPosted Aug 19, 2014
This hotel is in a good location. its about a two blocks from Downtown and all the major shopping. I recommend the city tour to take you where you want to go around Madrid. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is standard. They don't have a restaurant, but the hotel is located near lots of cafes and restaurants. They also have a mini market close by. The rooms are small, but that shouldn't be to surprising since your in Europe. However, the room was comfortable. It can get noisy from all the street noise outside of the hotel.

It's 30mins away from Barajas Airport by car.Posted Aug 15, 2014
It only costs 30€ from the hotel to the airport and the hotel is located near a station and it's very easy to find. The room was perfect with an air conditioner working. I loved it.

Good location, nice place to stay and good valuePosted Aug 14, 2014
Cons: The elevator is quite slow but I do not think this can be improved.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. There is wifi and air conditioning. The hotel is also centrally located off of the Santa Domingo Metro stop. The hotel also offers luggage storage, which was especially helpful because check-out was at 12pm and our flight was not until 11pm. My boyfriend and I took advantage of a deal a restaurant near Puerta del Sol offered to guests at this hotel. 3 course meal including a bottle of wine for 11 euros per person. I would stay here again.

The Hotel is nice, close the Gran Via and metroPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: It's clean and modern, the bathroom it's big.
Location: The location it's perfect, close the Gran Via and the metro station and there are many restaurants very good nothing expensive!
I've stayed in two hotels in my trip to Madrid, the first of which is located in the Gran Via, had a lot of noise at night and the hotel was not good at all, but this second hotel Sterling was very good for me at all, service, good looks, more clean and modern!

Will return.Posted Jul 21, 2014
The hotel is in a very central location, a block and a half from La Gran Via, close to the Metro as well as to restaurants and tapas bars. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was very adequate.

An ok experiencePosted Jul 15, 2014
Although it wasn't cozy, it was posh for a three star hotel. It was close to all the main attractions and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good, I helped myself to many things. The only criticism I would make would be the noise made from other rooms while I was trying to sleep at night. Everything else was satisfactory. I would recommend this place to anyone else spending a few nights in Madrid.

four days in MadridPosted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Convenient location, centrally situated.
Cons: The sound from the nightclub on Saturday night.
Location: Handy for Gran Via, City Tour bus, Palacio Real
Hotel was clean, friendly and prepared for our early arrival. Instant access to our room was very welcome after a 5am start to our journey. As we were out all day we had little contact with staff, but when we did we were given all the information and help that we required.

Central Barcelona hotelPosted Jul 3, 2014
We required just one night at this hotel and found it excellently placed, a close walk to shopping and plazas, also to Metro. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the hotel was small but modern and clean. Our room was very small, with the bed pushed up against the wall, but we thought this might be because of the very cheap nightly rate we took advantage of - we thought it was very good value for a central location in such a large, popular city

Excellent location, close to Espana metro stationPosted Jun 4, 2014
Very good location, close to metro, plenty restaurants to dine. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. A gentleman whose name is Hector, worked at front desk, an excellent guide on directions! Originally, planned to take trains to surrounding cites, Hector told me about direct buses which were quicker and cheaper, and a lot more convenient! The only issue was I booked a room with Queen size bed and included breakfast, but when I arrived I was told the room was not available, instead, a room with two twin beds. After talked with the staff and the the manager, I was switched to a room with queen bed, and with complimentary breakfast. It could an issue with Expedia or hotel. Glad it turned out everything was all right.
