All well and good for a lowish price. Very good location. Mattress on bed very basic/hard/uncomfortable. Not as good a standard as a uk Premier Inn. would use again but for the mattress!

Pros: Great Staff and the rooms were neat and clean
Cons: Don't take a room directly above the hotel bar and restaurant on a championship soccer weekend.
Location: Royal Palace, many beautiful churches, and museums. Very friendly people!
The hotel and staff were great. The weekend we picked was the big soccer game between the two Madrid teams for the Championship. It was great for the city except our room was directly over the hotel bar so we were able to hear all the noise from the bar and celebrations that lasted till 05:00. It was hard to sleep as a result but that was not the hotels fault. We had a great experience and the hotel is so close to the heart of the historical part of Madrid. Walking distance to the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum. Excellent food in the restaurants in the area. And if you want a more Americano style of breakfast there is a Duncan Donuts on the corner by the hotel.
