“Great hotel location”
First of all this is a 4 star hotel, not 1 star as indicated by Expedia. DH and I spent 5 nights there during our visit to Madrid. The hotel is just 2 blocks away from the Atocha train station and 1 block away from the metro which makes getting around very easy, and particularly great if you plan to take day trips to near by cities like Avila, Toledo etc via the train. From the metro stop Puerta del Sol and the central district near Plaza Mayor is only 3 metro stops away. While there are not lot of good restaurants in the immediate area near the hotel, it is only about 10-15 min walk to the Plaza Santa Ana where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The room is spacious with a modern decor and very comfortable. We never heard any street noise from our room on the 5th floor. The hotel breakfast buffet is a bit pricey but worth a try at least once as they have a nice spread of various foods including the wonderful jamon and lomo! The front desk staff can also appear snooty at times but when we asked we have no trouble getting them to make reservations at various restaurants for us. All in all we are happy with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to go back if we ever visit Madrid again.
“Great location, close to Prado and train station and other attractions”
Great hotel at a great location that is close to everything.
“Good location, very clean hotel”
The hotel is right across the Atocha train station. If you plan to take day trips via train, it's very convenient. very close to Prado museum and Reina Sofia. Very clean hotel, looks new. Breakfast buffet is not bad, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages along with meats, juices, pastries , etc. You can't get much hot food in the morning else where besides the hotel. A bit walk to Plaza Mayo and Royal Palace, you can take taxi to there for 7 euro. Casa De La Vega is close by, lots of locals go there for tapas, so you need to speak some spanish. Plaza Santa Ana is close walking distance, they have English speaking waiters and menu.

“Husa Paseo Del Arte”
The hotel was conveniently situated near museums and transportation. My room was ready upon arrival. Hotel staff was efficient and extremely accommodating.
“Loved it!!! Convenient, Clean and Great Staff”
I took a chance and was suprised by the great location and overall condition of the property. Very convenient to all the sights and most of all a great value. The bed could have been a little more comfortable. But that was the least concern. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the staff was very helpful! Loved this hotel.

“Great hotel in the city”
Great location, near the train station. The staff was very knowledgeable about things to do and willing to help with maps and directions. We would definitely stay there again.
