Absolutely loved my stay here. I came here after spending a couple of days in a 4-star hotel nearby to spend an extra night in Madrid somewhere cheaper, and hand on heart I loved this place so much more than the hotel!
I was a solo traveller and I had a large bright room with a balcony with a terrific view from the 6th floor, and 2 double beds to myself, all for a ridiculously low price. The room was beautiful with period designs, and the bathroom was lovely with hot water enabling a good shower.
Staff were very friendly and made me feel secure as a solo female traveller.
I only wish I had spent my whole holiday here!! I have convinced my parents to stay here if they want to visit Madrid.

The staff at Miguel Ángel could not be more friendly, helpful and welcoming, not to mention hardworking. The (double) room had a brand new, excellent shower, a fridge, a flatscreen television, wifi and was big and clean. The location is perfect, close to Tribunal and Alonso Martínez metro stations, with the beautiful Plaza Santa Bárbara and its bars and cafes right around the corner, and just a short walk to Gran Vía, Mercado San Antón, Colón and many other great places to visit. However the room was very quiet in the evenings and at night so we could sleep well. I recommend this to all travellers!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is 2 blocks away from Callao Metro Station and from Preciados Galley, a shopping street where you can find everything you need: restaurants for different budgets, souvenir stores, shoe and clothing stores and a few Oulet Stores with excellent discounts all year round. From this hotel you can easily walk to Plaza Mayor, San Miguel Market, Almudena Cathedral and the Royal Palace. Hotel Rooms are very clean and comfortable, good air conditioning, Cable TV, shower and or bathtub with good water pressure. Comfortable beds and clean linings. Breakfast is simple but you can eat as much as you want: mini muffins, croissants, coffee, tea, milk cereal, fresh fruit and juice. Staff is very nice and helpful, ready to answer all your questions. They can book tours for you and advise on things to do around the city. Across the street there is a nice restaurant with a typical spanish buffet, worth trying it, its name is Puerto Rico. I highly recommend this hotel for short or long stays in Madrid, it has excellent rates.
