Good location to Grand Via and Sol & free mini barPosted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: Location, condition of the room and friendly staff.
Cons: Providing guest amenities (as stated above) and perhaps adding some pictures to the bedroom walls.
Location: A good choice of restaurants, bakeries and boutiques within walking distance of the hotel
Good location to the central parts of the city (c15 minute walk to Grand Via and Sol) with a good choice of restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel is right by Bilbao Metro station which is ideal. There are also 2 buses outside the hotel which take you to the Bernabéu Stadium. The hotel is fairly new and in good condition. Although the rooms are very clean, they lack a little character (ie, quite basic with no pictures on the wall). I would say that it was more of a 3*+ hotel rather than a 4* hotel. They also did not provide guest amenities such as a shower cap (on request only), vanity and sewing kits, toothpaste and shaving kit; the usual items which you would get with a 4* hotel. 2 or 3 English speaking channels (news channels only) although there is plenty to do in Madrid apart from watching TV! A complimentary mini bar which contained soft drinks was a nice touch. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. I travel to Madrid at least once per year and it would be a hotel that I would consider returning to on a future visit.

Nice for MadridPosted Mar 25, 2014
Clean, next to metro. However toiletries were used and housekeeping left my door open one night. Manager very apologetic but this is unacceptable. Staff is very kind

Style over substancePosted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Location, Architecture, comfortable bed, free wifi.
Cons: The hotel lacked ambience. Open the cafe in the evening, or provide better in-room drinks facilities; sort out the leaky shower and toiletries.
Location: Good hamburger place opposite, but otherwise not much around there. Quite noisy in the morning, as it's on a busy road junction.
The hotel facade is beautiful, and it's in an ideal location 10 paces away from a metro stop. However the interior ambience of the hotel was disappointing. The cafe bar was closed (apart from breakfast) and there was no where to obtain a drink - hot or cold. There was a small complimentary mini bar in the room with soft drinks, but no wine or beer, and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The room itself was nicely designed, with a very comfortable bed, but the bathroom had a leaky shower, which had led to the carpet becoming stained and mouldy. The toiletries supplied did not match the facilities - eg. I had bath foam, but no bath, and a shower, but no shower gel. There was also only a net curtain at the bathroom (floor to ceiling) window, which meant I couldn't undress in there with the light on without being seen by the office workers in the opposite building. The staff were polite, but gave me incorrect information about the cost of breakfast. It wasn't included in my rate, so they told me I had the option to pay at reception (even in the morning) for 10 Euro, or in the cafe for 12 Euro. When I came to reception in the morning to pre-pay for my breakfast they told me to go and order in the cafe, and I was charged 12 Euro on both days.

Comfortable hotel just outside main, busy areaPosted Mar 3, 2014
The staff is ready to assist. They gave us great advice on how to use the metro, what to see and where to eat. The room is relatively small, but modern and clean.

Enjoyed MadridPosted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: Great little restaurant, very vibrant at lunch time and a good breakfast.
Cons: There is a definite lack of english speaking channels on the TV.
Location: The location is not exactly central, although in a nice quiet area, but the metro is right outside the door so not really a problem.
Loved Madrid, a beautiful city and the hotel was ideal. Comfortable and friendly. The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for you. Would definitely use the hotel again.

Nice hotel, great staff, great locationPosted Feb 25, 2014
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The Innside was easy to find, a short walk from the centre and right by the Metro. The staff were brilliant, this is a great hotel for those looking for a base from which to explore the city. As well as its close proximity to the centre and some great attractions there are some great places to eat and drink. Would highly recommend this hotel!
