If you're looking for a long night of fun and non stop adventure make sure you find Kapital and Mondo discotecas. All I have to say is unbelievable!!!

“Good Choice”

This hotel was a "Good Choice" for our stay. It was in a quite area and the location was very near the Amercian Embassy . The satff was friendly and the front desk was very accomodating.

Area recommendations
The Salamanca area. It was our first time to Spain and the area was very nice. Resturants, shops and using public transportation was eailsy accessible.
Getting around
The first day we used taxi service to get to The Prado. It was expensive. We shifted and started using public transportation which was more reasonable in price. The buses are clean and easy to get on and off. The front desk at the hotel informed us as to which bus we needed to use to get where we were going.

“Superb treatment at Melia Galgos!”

Wonderful hotel. Front Desk spoke good English. Wish that they had on site parking, but overall treatment and hotel was excellent. Great value for the money and in a great neighbourhood! Will stay there again and again!

Area recommendations
The entire area is great and a safe area. It's down the street from the American Embassy so if anyone runs into problems.

“Learning about hotels in Madrid”

The hotel is nice, good ubication, but i paid for all, my room is not good cleaning, and i call a service room for ice, and paid for it, is incredible, tha conditioning air is not soo good, is not working good because always stay warm the room, the breakfast is good, i recomend this, and good zone for walk, shop, etc.

“Good Stay, Great Breakfast”

Good front desk help. Great breakfast. Make sure to buys it while booking with Expedia, otherwise it will be too expensive if you pay for it at the hotel. Room was clean and met our needs. Remember, you're there to see the city, not the hotel.

Getting there
Take the Metro everywhere. From the Airport, take Line 8 to the Columbia Station. Transfer to Line 9 and get off at the Nunez Balboa Station. Follow the exits signs to Calle Juan Bravo. Once you exit the Metro, Starbucks will be at the left of the stair case. Take a right and walk two blocks. Then go left for two blocks. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the Metro Station.
