Very good hotel in safe neighbourhood.Posted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: Room, food and location.
Cons: The room was cold and no amount of adjustments to the AC could get it to warm up (we visited in November).
Location: Safe district. No attractions nearby, but there are plenty of restaurants and shops a short walk away.
Room was excellent. Much better than expected for the price we paid. The rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast was also excellent. Very good spread of food which was of a high standard. Although the hotel is some distance from the centre of Madrid it is close to bus and Metro stations, so the centre is not difficult to get to. The hotel is also very close to the airport bus service. The airport is only a 15min ride away.

A lovely hotel with great facilitiesPosted Nov 3, 2013
A little out of the centre- but still within walking distance of the gorgeous Retiro Park - this hotel was both comfortable and affordable. Service was friendly and helpful, and the location meant that you could explore by foot or by metro very easily. Additionally, the airport bus stopped half a block from the hotel. Highly recommended as it was particularly good value for money.

This hotel is very well located in Madrid.Posted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: The location in Salamanca neighborhood, one of the nicest in Madrid.
Cons: The entrance for heavy luggage, specially coming from America. There is no ramp, hence we believed that the same was very necessary.
Location: As told, very well located, two blocks away from Serrano (shopping street) and at a walking distance from Puerta de Alcala and other wonderful places.
It was my first trip to Madrid and we were very pleased with the location in Salamanca neighborhood. The hotel staff is fantastic and they are always "at your service" with anything you may need from basic stuff to arranging directions and reservations in Madrid restaurants. We were very pleased with our choice and do believe that with the price that we paid during our visit we had more than we were hoping in this amazing city!

NH Principe de Vergara - Madrid August 2013Posted Aug 23, 2013
Pros: The bed is big! :))
Cons: The bar should be open until late. Yes, even during summer.
Location: It's awesome. There's a direct bus from the airport. Number 200 takes you from and to Barajas airport in 20 min for the normal subway price.
Great. I highly recommend it. I was told this hotel was reformed just 2 years ago. The breakfast is $10. I haven't tried it because I'm originally from Madrid and I know where to have great food.

Quiet neighborhood with easy access to MetroPosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was very comfortable. I really liked the decor. The hotel is located in a quieter area of Madrid but the Metro and buses are only two blocks away so it was very easy to get around the city.

Close to the city with a bus stop across the road for access to and from the city. Walking distance to restaurants, tapas, and shopping as well.would definitely stay here again if in Madrid.

Great Staff, Great ValuePosted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: Front desk staff was very helpful in all of our requests!
Location: A little far from the core, but nearby to cafes, markets and transit to get to/from the city center.
A little outside of the centre of Madrid, this hotel was a great way to get a 4* hotel without the 4* prices. While the hotel is clearly targeting more of a business clientele, they were excellent at helping us plan our tourist activities. Front desk opened our wine, provided ice and even booked a Flamenco show for us. They also provided information on the bus tours and local transit to help us get to and from the centre. Room was clean and modern and the location was safe and quiet. A $10 cab ride from the Atoche train station, or a half hour walk from the O'Donnell/Dr. Esquerdo Airport Express stop made getting to and from the hotel quite easy. Would definitely recommend this hotel as a nice, 4* hotel to stay at in Madrid.

Good hotelPosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice looking rooms. Quiet. We had a problem with the window so were put in a different room. One of the staff at the front desk during the day was not very friendly. We were only there for one night but liked it overall. Public transport in the area very good. Both metro and bus that stops right outside the hotel.
