Not great
Staff were great but the hotel is very tired paper coming off walls, mould in the shower, poor to non existent temperature controls and no bar on Friday evening.

Dirty room , poor service with incompetent employees and no manager available. A/C not functioning well , TV not functioning well . Expedia, how can you rate this hotel 3stars ! Maybe you should do your job and proper evaluation Avoid this hotel at any cost !

Great hotel in a great location for us.
Hotel is great. Staff is very friendly. The air conditioning system was a big problem during our stay. Very hot in the rooms. We had to sleep with windows open to freshen the room. Beds are reasonably comfortable and room size is good.

3 star hotel price for a 4 star experience
Found this hotel after an internet search done at very short notice following a flight cancellation. All I can say is that ‘we got lucky’. The hotel is so clean, has a nice bar, friendly and professional staff and has many good but inexpensive restaurants nearby.

It was a nice place No cable so there were no Options to watch a movie or any sports. Only 10 Channels of Spanish tv I had no air conditioning the 1st night. I was moved into 2 additional rooms which also had no ac. The next morning it was fixed but they never moved me back into the superior size room I paid for. Nor did compensate me for the 1st night. Not a glass of wine bottle of water or anything

Great stay
Nice place to stay. Friendly receptionist on arrival. Explained that parking was €10 but found parking on the street directly in front of hotel for free. Nice big room with fresh amenities in spacious bathroom. Free WiFi. My only criticism would be room was too hot and couldn't work out aircon, and from a personal perspective, parking fee.

Good value in expensive Madrid
I booked this hotel as an affordable “airport” hotel. It didn’t work for that as it requires metro changes and metro supplements. However, the hotel represents good value in expensive Madrid. It’s clean, spacious, dry quiet and the wifi works well. It’s a good hotel if you want to stay in that area.

Very comfortable hotel, north of city center.
The hotel is in a suburban area, very close to the Style Outlet shopping mall. Ideal if you have a car because parking on the street was always available. The metro to go into Madrid is only a few blocks away (I would say about 3 blocks). Breakfast was excellent with good variety. Beds were confortable.

Good place to stay when I’m on business in Madrid as I many of my meetings are in this area. The staff on the reception are always helpful. Some nice restaurants and bars in walking distance, my favourite is Kanbun Sushi Japanese restaurant which is great quality but there are also nice Spanish bars too.

Bleak, unlovely hotel. 2 people staying (and paid for!), one set of towels - with holes in. This hotel should be regraded B&B, it has no facilities you would expect. We went out and returned at 8pm to discover no bar as advertised in their directory of facilities, everything in darkness. I expected much better from nh.

Nice room, but there are no facilities here at all. No bar, gym, lounge, restaurant. It's literally just rooms. There is breakfast to be fair, and that's Ok to good. There are restaurants about 400m away, but even that's not really a restaurant area, and the nearest proper bar is about 1km. They price on availability too, and there's few rooms in this area. I had to pay average Euos250 per night plus.

The location of this property is outstanding; so close to public transportation, restaurants, however it would be nice to have had an airport shuttle. Everything was kept clean, however the bathroom sink in 502 retained water way too long.

Nice modern hotel with very clean and comfortable room. Close to a metro station; a five minute walk. Near a shopping center area; a five minute car drive.

Convenient and comfortable
In business district but near impressive outlet mall with great value restaurants also walking distance to line 10. A bit complicated to get via Metro to city centre but multi ticket option is good value. About 50 mins to centre. Train service very frequent and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. TV channels can change to English on remote. Good variety. Safe a bit awkward to use but it has one. Shower is good. Pillows could be bigger as half size normal. Bed very comfortable. Room a bit hot even with window open and not summer yet. Did not have breakfast incl but cafes in area. Hotel good value compared to city prices so worth the traveling if on budget. Hotel has New feel.

Excellent hotel
We chose this hotel as a halfway stop between Santander and southern Spain without getting involved with central Madrid. It fitted our needs admirably. Pleasant, comfortable and clean it more than lives up to it's three star rating and we would stay there again.

Good service from the hotel - check in/out was very easy. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was good. The hotel bar did not open until 19:30 which was a bit inconvenient at the end of a hot day.

Efficient and friendly welcome. All our queries answered including local shops we wanted to visit. The full name of the hotel was not apparent from the road - only the NH logo (which we were not originally looking for.

The room was way too hot to sleep and they would not correct it. It was very noisey outside so an open window overnight was not possible. neighborhood was OK at best but not good and satefy was questionable at night. The sidewalks were fouled and bad.
