This hotel could not be more conveniently placed.

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: This comfortable hotel is just one minute from the Puerta del Sol, Madrid's main square, a Metro station, the main shopping street and n ATM.
This was a very conveniently placed hotel with helpful receptionists, a good bedroom with all facilities and an excellent buffet breakfast. I was delighted with my choice.

Just ok

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Location was fun.
Cons: Not sure.
Location: Plaza really close and fun.
Just ok. Fun location but also noisy. Beds were not comfortable. Staff was ok. It was clean. Not good to get to if you have a car no garage.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments about our hotel. Regarding the noisy, we want to let you know that we have interior rooms, quieter than facing the street but with the same facilities. Concerning the garage, we have a deal with Plaza del Carmen Parkin, 50 m far away from the hotel, and where you can get a 20% of discount over their rates. With the best wishes, Alfredo Torralba General Manager

Nice hotel right in the centre of town

Posted May 23, 2014
We had a lovely time here- there are countless number of shops right outside(Zara, mango, el Cortes ingles etc.) We opted to pay a little extra for breakfast each morning and it was nothing spectacular but it got us started for the day. We were on the first floor and often times had to open our door to allow fresh air inside because the room smelled like a septic tank. This was occasional. Other than that, this hotel is spacious, free wifi and a laptop for your convenience. Staff was extremely helpful and all the monuments and museums are in close proximity.

NICE HOTEL but the WIFI did not function

Posted May 18, 2014
This would be a great hotel, but even though it is called a "High Tech Hotel", the WIFI did not work well. I was not able to conduct my online business activities with mobile phone and laptop using the hotel provided WIFI. I could never stay at the hotel again and risk once again losing my time because the hotel could not provide a basic service.

Reasonably priced for such a great location

Posted Apr 27, 2014
Pros: Location Staff
Cons: Room temperature
Location: Close to Plaza Mayor, Gran Via and within walking distance of Museo Prado and Buen Retiro Park
Three of us stayed in one of the family rooms in this hotel and as such there was a double bed and a bunk bed. The room was nice (although maybe a little small for four people or with children). The provision of the laptop and complimentary wifi was a nice touch. The bathroom was very nicely decorated and spacious. The breakfast room on the roof was lovely and there were a really good variety of options. Our only complaint was that during our visit the weather was very hot and our room got extremely hot during the night which made it sometimes difficult to sleep. The windows do open but unfortunately there was no breeze as we faced inwards onto a small courtyard bit of the building (which is surrounded by the walls of other rooms). There was an air conditioning unit in the room but although this was set to high it seemed to go off automatically at around 10pm and could not be turned back on. We left it on during the day when we were out of the room but unfortunately it did not seem to do much at all - I'm not sure it even worked? This could have just been in our room though. The main draw for the hotel is the location. It is so well situated. Not too far a walk (maybe 15 minutes) from the middle airport express bus stop and then well within walking distance to the Museum and Park. The main square for the city is around 5 minutes walk. Very reasonably priced for such a brilliant location. We would stay there again (just maybe not in the same room!)
