Small room but convenientPosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We selected the hotel as a good bargin, close to airport and allowed for 5 in the room. The hotel met our needs although we won't stay there for more than one night.

Good hotel for the money.Posted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: Size and cleanliness of room and bathroom.
Cons: See above re. breakfast service - or rather lack thereof.
Larger hotel room which was very pleasing. Best part was the shuttle to the airport - first departs at 6AM. Saddest part was having paid for breakfast and no nothing was mentioned as to the time of service. When we noticed it did not start until 7am and we had to depart at 6:30am, the staff member who checked us in he said "My colleague will set it up here in the lobby in the AM" - no such service happened or was found. Nor did the AM person mention anything about any coffee or tea being found anywhere else. Waste of money and quite disappointing.

Not a 4 starPosted Jun 11, 2013
Dirty, not well kept, no coffee in am or food available it was Sunday. Awful. Would love to know who gave it 4stars. One would be too much.

Excellent for the explorerPosted Jun 7, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff and good transport links
Cons: exterior and pool
Location: Close to metro and airport
Lovely hotel, great staff and facilities. Rooms were pleasant to be in and the afternoon meals were good after a day out. it is in the middle of a apartment district but its nothing to hold against it. Staff were very helpful and spoke good english. there was only a few downsides, the exterior is a bit shabby, the pool was dirty and unuseable and the double beds are two singles next to each other, other than that brilliant bonus close to metro and free airport shuttle service, would reccomend if yyou want to explore madrid

The shuttle from and to the airport was very helpful and free...the room and bath were comfortable and clean ...and included a computer with free wifi.. the buffet breakfast cost 9 euros but had a reasonable variety of food and great coffee ...I would return to this hotel when in Madrid for an overnight connection..

Not a very nice hotel, but nice staff. The hotel is old and there is a sign that does not say "Petit Palace", but rather "High Tech Hotel" with most of the lights burned out. Excellent Italian restaurant nearby.

the furniture in the lobby (red chairs) were so worn and dirty that i was very shocked to see them in a 4 star hotel. the hotel rooms have the thinnest walls of any hotel i have stayed at. the neighborhood is very residential and quiet, however, the guest in the room above us, made up for that and then some. we stayed for our last night here and thought we will have a quiet night prior to our trip back to the states. Well, at about 4 in the morning, our neighbors upstairs decided to have some sort of party, we could hear every footstep, every laugh and if we knew their language, i am sure we could have participated in their conversation. it was terrible.

Great hotel shame about the beds!Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: Good wifi & modern rooms
I chose this hotel for it's proximity to the airport as I was getting a connecting flight early the next morning and reasoned that it would save me taxi fares... Wrong! The Taxis at the airport charge a minimum €35 fare which no amount of arguing could change, unfortunately it was dark & I had no idea where the hotel was (1.2 km away) so had to pay, I know this has nothing to do with the hotel but thought I would warn others. The Hotel itself is a nice suprise, reasonably modern with friendly staff, so far so good. The room looks lovely really clean with a 32" lcd tv & Dell laptop for all your internet needs. But & it is a big BUT the bed is the hardest thing I have ever laid on and I have slept on concrete floors before! To say it is uncomfortable is a big understatement, I kept waking up in the night with dead limbs and a whole body ache, just perfect for my 11 hour flight the following morning! So to sum up a very attractive reasonably priced hotel. Great for visiting monks who feel that there cells are a little to comfortable.
