Excellent position with extremely helpful staff.Posted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: The position just off Plaza Major and the excellent reception staff, who were cheerful and helpful at all times.
Cons: The signage for the breakfast room, which we never managed to locate. The room was rather small but that is the nature of an older building.

Hotel fine. Interesting building and staircase. Nice room and comfortable bed. bathroom needs repairs.... Ceiling peeling, shower door would not close. fan/ventilation in room did not work last Night. Fairly quiet. Could hear all doors opening and shutting. vacuming at 9:30 am on Sunday in room next door woke us up. Staff excellent - very attentive and friendly. Circus outside. Fine for one visit if you want this location. Would have been better for weekday and not weekend. Will stay at different location next visit.

The only good thing is the hotel location...Posted Sep 1, 2013
Pros: only the location...
Cons: too many to mention
The hotel staff made sure to make our stay in their hotel is a huge disappointment from the first day... and even when we left they made a huge mistake and change one of our luggages with another guest's and you can imagine the rest...

Excellent LocationPosted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: Primarily Location
Cons: Room lighting is poor as well as the bathroom wash basin
Location: Close by the Plaza Mayor and only few minutes away from the Royal Palace
Went back and forth to this facility during our short trip to Spain. Its location is excellent for a traveller with little time to spare and/or waste trying to find his way around . All attractions are within walking distance .Just step out the front door and you would be in the middle of many shops, resturants, historic sites etc.

Worth it!Posted Aug 27, 2013
Cons: Darkness of the hallways.
Location: The hotel is in the busy section of Madrid. Easily accessible by train and other modes of transportation. Perfect place to stay.
My hotel experience was great. Nothing worth complaining about. Perfect location!

Good location but needs renovationPosted Aug 26, 2013
This hotel has an excellent location and is very close to everything. However, if you're a light sleeper and are easily disturbed by noise at night, this is not the place for you. We heard noise and partying from bars until very late at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The outside of the hotel was nice and we felt safe in the area at all times. The room and hotel decor is ugly and looks old. The curtains in our room were ripped and there was some mold in the shower and sink. The bathroom door made a loud noise everytime it was opened.

Excellent for the pricePosted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Rooms were small BUT everything else was perfect. Breakfast was a great buffet selection, staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. Location near everything. For the price. I was not expecting much, boy was I surprised. Would stay here again. GREAT VALUE.

Great Hotel at the Best Location in MadridPosted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Location, room comfort, staff's friendliness
We loved the hotel's location, wedged between Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol Plaza, right in the middle of it all! It was very convenient to walk to all the attractions with small kids.
