“Quite eloquence in boutique hotel near art museums”

One of the finest hotels in Spain. Staff excellent . Food exquisite . Rooms have much charm, class and European eloquence. Nothing done here less than first class. Would recommend to any traveller needing quite neighborhood away from the masses of tourists within easy walk or bus or taxi to the three great art museums. Plus superb restaurants in neighborhood. equal to finest small boutique hotels in Paris London and Rome.

“Hidden Treasure!!!!!!!”

Hotel Orfila has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It is luxurious and you feel like royalty when you stay there. The staff bends over backwards to meet your every need and is always polite. Along with the wonderful atmosphere of the hotel, you have a great restaurant on the ground floor and it is a reasonable walking distance to the musuems and the major plaza's. After a long day of walking and sightseeing, you come back to your room and find your bed turned down with complimentary Godiva chocolate on your pillow, a weather forecast for the next day, and a robe and slippers set up for you. This place was amazing!

“An excellent hotel”

Our stay was excellent. They gave on our arrival a bottle of wine. The hotel is very close to "Colon Plaza" and can go walking to all the way to different places through "Recoletos Blvd" which takes you to "Atocha train station". It is also very easy to use their bus system to travel around the city (only 1 euro). If you want to visit "Toledo" or "Segovia" you can take a city bus to "Plaza de Oriente" for guided tours because they don't pick you up at the hotel. In general our stay was fantastic. We never ate at the hotel, it is very expensive. There is a VIPS restaurant very close that has great breakfast and lunch.

“Huge Comforable Bed”

I had requested for a king size bed and was pleasantly surprised to get one that matched the size of my own bed. Friendly staff and cozy room made our stay very pleasant.

“Impressive small hotel”

Fabulous, old-style small hotel with extraordinary cuisine and exquisite service. Attention is paid to the smallest details. The Orfila is located on embassy row, a dignified neighborhood that is close to the major avenidas and a ten-minute walk from the museums.

“Excellence”

Five star service and comfort. A little off the beaten track in terms of location, but an easy metro ride from anywhere you might want to go in Madrid. Staff was professional, efficient, helpful, and spoke perfect English whenever necessary. Room was well-fitted and spotlessly clean; room service was impeccable. Will stay in Hotel Orfila again if ever in Madrid.
