Everything OK except sound insulation

Renovated older hotel so better than an unrenovated older hotel but the sound from other units was a problem. You could hear TVs and people talking to the side and above in our case til after 1am. The floors are not carpeted so sound from women in heels in upper units travels through the concrete and is loud.

Spacious comfort

Initially looks very dated and old but rooms were surprisingly spacious and clean. Very near to airport with shuttle bus. Would definitely stay here again.

OK hotel to crash for night

Basically the only good thing about the hotel is free airport transfer. Other than that hotel has no elevator, in a run-down area with run-down looks and is built with cheap material and stocked with cheap furniture. Of course the room rate was not very expensive either, so you get what you pay for. Hotel staff was friendly and seemed helpful.

Would not recommend to my worst enemy

Cons: Effective double glazing
Location: Spanish Airforce Museum
If you like sleep teprivation, caused by noisy planes and dual carriageway and ineffective double glazing, and sleeping in fridge like environment caused by aircon. Hot food was advertised from the bar, the barman could only do a ham sandwich made from processed ham plonked on a plate for 6.95 euros, he appeared to charge me for two different prices for my beer, when I quiryed this he claimed it was because I had a sandwich with, he then went off brought back the manager, on checking he had undercharged me, so I had to fork out more. Back to the sleep saga, when the jets stopped flying but continued by the prop driven planes, the management switched on the aircon which sounded like a jet plane and reduced the temperature to like a fridge. I decided to sleep in the bathroom, away from the ineffective double glazing, but the management had thought of this, and the sound of the aircraft was transmitted through the extractor fan, I wear earplugs and the sound permeated through these. After the nightmare, I checked out checked things were in order and left only to be stopped by a barrier, I then reversed back to the reception to go through the process of explaining I had already checked out and could I have a token to allow me to exit the site.

DON'T stay at this hotel!!!

VERY hard to find because it has no street number. It took us 1 hour to find, and we were fewer than 2 km away when we called for directions. Staff EXTREMELY unhelpful and incapable of assisting with directions. No air conditioning, and the locks haven't been updated this century. Expedia should take this place off its site.

Good for stopover before early AM flight

Convientely located near airport. Large rooms, clean and comfortable. Helfpul staff and free airport shuttle a big plus as well as prompt and responsive. Inaccessible by anything other than car though so definitely not for anyone looking to tour Madrid.

Isolated location

Pros: It was clean.
Cons: The hotel restaurant exploited the terrible location, and priced their dinners to people such as I who felt stranded out in the middle of nowhere.
Location: The area was mostly closed businesses and warehouses. Many buildings were decrepit and falling down.
I wanted a hotel where I could find an area restaurant, not only were there none, the area was such that I was not comfortable setting out to walk to find one. The hotel restaurant dinner was terrible and excessively expensive. There was the Menu del Dia posted on the shuttle bus, in the hotel in two locations and turns out was not available. I would have appreciated knowing how isolated this hotel was. I thought it was in a town. I read many location descriptions prior to selecting this one.

This hotel is a bit difficult to find, but it's close to the airport and provides a free shuttle transfer and wifi in all rooms. The latter are quite large and practical--no thrills. Perfect for one night prior to/after a flight. The hotel restaurant and room service are, however, overpriced especially given how reasonable the hotel is otherwise. Staff are friendly and know some English.
