Lovely hotelPosted Apr 11, 2014
Cons: Perhaps an English channel on TV.
Location: The location is great. near the metro and a shopping centre. also near the bus station.
Wonderful hotel in all aspects. staff, comfort, cleanliness, nice breakfast buffet. and very reasonable pricewise. also very near a shopping centre and the metro. easy to go to the town centre of the red line, non stop. my room was absolutely amazing. on the 9th floor I could see a lot of Madrid from my bed! the rooms are big and comfortable. no English channel on TV, only Spanish. but I am being petty.

Excellent value for moneyPosted Nov 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed here before when it had just been built as it's a perfect location for accessing all my family who live nearby. This time, the service and cleanliness remained the same and rooms just as huge. All that has changed is that the hotel is a little more tiered than it used to be. All in all though, excellent value for money.

Close to metroPosted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: Clean and conveniently located.
Cons: Internet! They advertise 'free wi if', but in fact if you want to use your email or Skype, it is blocked and there are hefty tariffs.
Location: Nothing but a shopping centre, but this is useful if you want to buy food and not eat out all the time.
Only two minutes walk from a nice new metro station, then six minutes into the centre of Madrid. Very convenient.

great stayPosted Oct 31, 2013
Cons: the wifi is not great here. even low budget hotels now include free wifi .
this hotel was exactly as advertised. it was clean, spacious and comfortable.much larger than most european hotels. staff was pleasant and helpful.most speak some english and that was not an issue for us.it is a bit out of city center but a short easy walk (under 5 minutes) to metro stop. one line on the metro and city center in 15 min. never waited five minutes for next metro! who could ask for more. Nearby mall with huge grocery store. There is only one restaurant nearby so that is not optimal but we ate there (chinese) on our last night as it was convenient. service there was good and food very tasty. There is also a small convenience store just behind hotel. We ate breakfast our first morning. 11 euros per person. not bad for hotel prices. lots of breads, cheeses and meats. a few hot dishes plus yogurt, fruit. Lots of choice All in all good value for money. would definetely stay here again

Nice Hotel out of the City CentrePosted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Large room, very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful and all spoke good English
Cons: Satellite tv had no English speaking channels not even Sky News or CNN.
Location: Bit out of the city centre. There is shopping mall within 2 minutes walk, with a big supermarket there. Ideally just jump on the metro and head to Sol
Nice place - bit out of the city centre - but metro station right across the road. 20 minutes underground ride direct to Puerto del Sol with no changes.

worth the metro ridePosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed 3 days here. It was easy to get to from the airport on the metro - about 1 hour ride. zone 1 metro ticket from airport. the metro stop is a 2 block walk from hotel.it's in a residential area a ways out but still in zone 1 metro tickets. it's about a 20 minute metro ride to popular places like plaza mayor/puerta del sol. hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. bed was a bit hard. breakfast was pricey and not worth that kind of price but you can eat in the small café place in the front which was cheap I think there is a shopping center walking distance away. free wifi in room was nice

LocationPosted Jun 12, 2013
Pros: Location is probably the best thing.
Cons: One inward corner had been damaged, and should be repaired. An additional chair would be helpful.
Location: There was a street market just one block away on Tuesday mornings. The bus and metro only 300 yards away.
Great access to bus and metro. We had stayed in Madrid for over a year previously, so we knew the bus and metro system. We also knew of this hotel and its location. We were able to visit all the sites that we desired to see.

WE highly recommend this hotelPosted May 12, 2013
Pros: Location, close to direct Metro line to city centre (Sol) 12 minute journey. Friendly staff, large bedroom
Cons: Poor bed. Also few restaurants in vicinity.
Excellent value for money, quiet and convenient location 2 minutes from Alsacia Metro station. Easy metro access from airport although 2 changes were involved. Large bedroom
Out of city centerPosted Mar 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stopped here for 2 nights to have a brief visit to Madrid city center. It was close to the Metro and then 20 mins to Sol (Central square) We knew that and it worked well as we had a car and it was easy to access from the Motorway and the parking was 11 euro which is cheap for Madrid hotel. The walls are paper thin and you can hear noise from all sides above and below. Not good. Bed was very firm. Lovely bathroom and shower. The restaurant was really a cafe No proper meals only salads etc. Breakfast was good. The hotel is set in a large high rise housing estate. We felt it a bit expensive for the location. Reception speak good English.
