“Ideal Location”

I chose this hotel because of the price and what looked like convenient location (according to Google Maps) to Puerta del Sol, El Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor and Palace Real. On this trip with my boyfriend, we didn't realize exactly how perfect the location was until we arrived. All of these spots were just a short walk from the hotel, and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area too! (Check out La Trucha on the same street...delicious.) We had a beautiful large room, and the people at the front desk were always friendly and gave great recommendations. We were there on a Wednesday-Sunday, and the only night we had a little trouble sleeping was on Saturday because of the noise of the people on the streets (and our room was on the 5th floor). Now that I think about it, we probably should have just joined them and had one last wild night in Madrid. This hotel made for a wonderful experience in Madrid, and if I make it back to the city I will definitely try to stay here.

“The real Madrid”

Huge room, service excellent, fabulous location in the middle of downtown Madrid surrounded by many restaurants and stores. It is very close, short walking distance to the main attractions in town, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Alcala Street, and La Gran Via. Well connected by Bus and Subway. The best feature is the excellent attention in the front desk, they will try very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible- The room includes a kitchen, a large living room, TV, internet, air conditioned,in a small street, that you can only locate with a GPS, but is a large part of it's charm, and make's you feel like a local instead of as a tourist. The best place to blend into the spirit of the city..

“Good location and large rooms for a great price”

I was pleasantly surprised to see how big these rooms were compared to the others I stayed in in Spain. The suite had a large living room with kitchen, a large bedroom with a balcony, and a bathroom. The staff was super friendly and gave us great restaurant recommendations. They offered to call a taxi for us to go to the airport without us even asking. The location is really convenient too. I would definitely recommend this place!

“Great Experience”

Staff extremely helpful & courteous. Location was excellent, could walk almost everywhere and fairly close to Metro. The hotel was right in the center of the action yet off the busy streets. Excellent restaurants, cafes near-by and Plaza Santa Ana very close and fun. Small grocery store on corner open until midnight, great. Rooms were large, very comfortable. Great old staircase but with good lifts. Loved varnished oak on ceiling in our room (the attic). Would go back in a heartbeat.

“Great hotel for families or couples”

Very happy overall with the Suite Prado Hotel. Worked well for us as it was nearby the Prado Museum and the Reina Sofia Musem. Both museums were truly within walking distance! Would stay here again!

“Great hotel in the centro”

great hotel close to the Prado and Sol Plaza. This is a small hotel but has huge rooms compared to the other hotels we stayed in while in Madrid. It's within walking distance to the Prado museum and the Centro (plaza del Sol). Great hotel if you are a tourist looking to walk the streets of Madrid. It's a few blocks from the Metro so everything is within walking distance.

“A Real Gem”

This hotel is a real gem for the normal traveler. We are in our mid-eighties and have travelled extensively. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every respect. We had a real suite with a great deal of spaciousness and had absolutely no complaints .Our stay was from a Sunday to Wednesday in mid-October 2012. There was no noise whatsoever when we were there although there might be some street noise on a Friday or Saturday night. Due to the excellent location, we believe that there will be street noise whereever you stay in the area on weekends. MJM Providence, RI
