Badly functioning air conditioningPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Good location
Cons: Very tired to look at, poor airconditioning
The air conditioning was too noisy to use so we had no airconditioning and the room was very noisy. This was supposed to be an upgrade - the room however was quite pleasant although the bathroom was tired, as were the public areas. The staff were helpful and friendly although they had no ability to provide a discount to account for the fact they'd offered us the upgraded room at an upgraded price. Ultimately disappointing - was was my experience of Expedia.

Great location - lovely hotelPosted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Great central location. We had a superior room - huge. Lovely crisp white linen. High standard of cleanliness. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Location: Good central location. Good shopping, restaurants, culture, street entertainment.
A wonderful long weekend spent in Madrid. Plenty to see and do. Metro very easy and cheap to use. Great football experience at the Santiago Bernabau Stadium. Segway experience is a wonderful way to see the sights. Food market is amazing. Such a selection of cooked food and drink!

Under US standards, 2 por 3 stars max... Location good but Trypp Gran vía isla better, old furniture at room. Excellent breakfast...good for a short stay but if staying longer, should look for a better hotel.

Lovely hotel within walking distance of so much!Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Location, Service & Staff
Cons: Double Beds not two singles pushed together!
Location: Location was right next to the Royal Palace with everything on walking distance. Temple De Bod and the Teleferico were very close by as well
Overall the hotel was excellent - Only issues were that the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned properly on arrival and we booked a Double Room but had 2 single beds pushed together instead. Other than this it was excellent and very well located in the City with minimal noise outside even with the balcony doors open.

Fantastic place to stay in MadridPosted Jun 4, 2014
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during the Easter holiday. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is fantastic! It is easy to get to all the main tourist attractions by foot from the TRYP.
