“Perfectly Located Tryp Ambassador”

Our room was gorgeous we were on the fourth floor, we had a window that completely opened to the street, we had a fridge, tv, living room area, desk, and tons of closet space. The hotel itself was in walking range to a ton of the Madrid tourist hot spots such as: plaza mayor, Calle gran via, the palace, plaza Ciebles, and was also really close to 4 different gardens/parks not to mention a wide variety of dining areas and what we believed to be the downtown shopping area. We loved our stay!! Everything was really clean and well kept. The only thing we didn't like was that outside of each door in the hall there is a light that shows when your key card is being in use since you have to use the key card to activate the lights in the room (so it basically told everyone outside of your room when you were there and when you were not); but I guess it didn't matter much because the hotel and the surrounding area were pretty safe. Anyways if we ever go get a chance to go back to Madrid we will definitely stay at this tryp ambassador again!! :)

“Great Hotel”

The hotel was great. The staff was eager to serve. They remembered our room number, when we returned they had our key ready. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had.

“Beautiful classic stylish hotel with great location and breakfasts”

Everything was really wonderful. The hotel is immaculate and has beautiful, classic decor. Breakfasts had huge variety of excellent food. The location near Palace and old city was great.

“Would love to go Back, Most Convenient Location”

Can't say enough about the hotel staff, front desk, breakfast staff, resaturant everyone was very professional very accomadating and very nice. In particular the main guy that runs the morning breakfast staff. We stayed at the TRYP Ambassador around 15 days. There were only two drawbacks to the stay but this is probably true of any hotel in the area. Madrid is a city that does not sleep or sleeps around 4 AM so there is always noise coming from the street. We were up on the 4th floor and the noise came in. The other issue is that the wireless internet has a very poor signal, at least where we were. We had two rooms on the 4th floor and the signal was very weak. We had to go downstairs by the lobby in order to get a good signal. Other than that everything else was just fine. Breakfast in the morning is great with a lot of options and absolutely everything is within walking distance of this hotel and in a location where noise has to be a lot less. I will most definately stay here again and will most definately recommend to anyone.

“Exceptional location and very quiet!”

We had 6 nights at this hotel and really enjoyed the room. Quite large and very comfortable. Best of all it was an extremely quiet location even though very close to major sights. The breakfast was tasty with many choices. The location is convenient to Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace. The metro stop is within 500 feet. Would select this hotel again without hesitation.

“Great Location, Great Price”

Everyone was great and helpful and polite no matter what time of day it was! The only issue I had was that the beds were two twins pushed together to imitate a full size and they weren't really that comfy but.. I would probably stay there again!
