checking-in was smoothly with the help of evening shift clerk( I forgot her name ). Location is excellent, it is right on Gran Via shopping street. It’s not quiet at night because room 606, 607 have the view of Gran via street. You can hear the police sirens and drunk people screaming through the night, especially Saturday. Breakfast was good, not delicious like other hotel I have stayed in Barcelona. Generally, good hotel with excellent location if you stay in the rooms not look out the street. I like the strong water pressure here. The rooms are spacious for 2 people.

Está en el mero centro de Madrid, tiene una estación de metro prácticamente a un lado, muchos restaurantes y atracciones de la ciudad muy cerca. Lo único malo son los elevadores, tienen dos para todo el edificio y en uno de ellos sólo caben dos personas sin las maletas y el otro no es que tenga mucho espacio que digamos, si llevas prisa es mejor usar las escaleras. Por lo demás el staff es muy amable, llegamos como 3 o 4 horas antes del check in y nuestro cuarto ya estaba listo, no es garantía de que te vaya a suceder a ti, quizá nosotros tuvimos suerte pero fue un buen detalle considerando que nuestro vuelo llegó muy temprano en la mañana.

Not worth the cost.
This hotel was not worth the more than $200 a night it cost to stay here. The quality is very basic. There was one very tiny, very slow elevator which cleaning staff had to use also to work. So expect loong dailys using it to get up to your room. Luckily my son and I were on the 3rd floor so most times we just opted to walk three flights up or down. The rooms were generally okay. No fridge so if you’re there for more than a day and want to buy water be able to drink it warm. AC didn’t really work and the room became warm and stuffy at night. I requested two twin beds since it was my son and I and technically thats what I got, two twin beds pressed together so no separation between us. My bed was very wobbly and many times I worried it would break as I shifted on it or gettin in or out of it. The bathroom was very tiny, so much that the shower door could not cover the length of the shower so there was no way to shower without wetting the sink and floor. Best thing about was the location. Central and very walkable. Unfortunately at this price range there dont appear to be many better options in Madrid as everything is over priced. So, if you want to feel like you're getting what you paid for, skip this place and go ahead and drop $300 or more a night on a better hotel.

The breakfast was great also :) Love the location for sure!! Also grateful that they were able to accommodate me for an early check-in. The only thing that I was unhappy: the noise from the construction outside. I was in room 705, facing the back.

The rooms were nice and spacious, especially considering traditionally most hotels and hostels in Spain tend to be on the smaller side. The staff is absolutely the best. They were very nice and generous. They really look after me and my friend really well. Honestly the best staff I have had at a hotel.

We were given an awful room on the 11th (top) floor. The bed was tiny, not really big enough for 2 people. There was a constant loud noise from the roof above our heads - I'm guessing air-con equipment. We asked to move the next day, & this was done straight away. I got the impression the receptionist was used to complaints. The next room was considerably larger, with 2 decent beds.

The hotel was amazing, the service was fast and great, the location was perfect! The were helpful, stored bags gladly so we can continue shopping, front desk was pleasant, I totally recommend it and would stay there again.

Great location, bad noise insulation
Pros: - Amazing location on Gran Via, 10 minutes walk from the palace and other attractions. - Good service and 24/7 reception. - Rooms were mostly clean except some hairs we found in the bathtub when we checked in, and the sink was not cleaned throughout our stay. Cons: - Terrible noise insulation in the rooms. Noise both from inside the hotel and from the busy street outside. The room we got had a constant buzzing sound with a bass that caused the walls to vibrate. It would not stop even when the power was off and was very annoying. We then moved to a different room that did not have this noise, but in this room we could hear other guests in the rooms around us pacing and talking, flushing their toilet and doors slamming in the hallway. We did not ask to move anymore as we were too tired of dealing with it by that time. As for outside noise, the rooms have double windows, however in the 3 rooms we've seen the locking mechanism was broken/not installed properly so it would not close all the way and we could still hear the street. We were awoken at night several times by noise. The hotel needs major work to be more soundproof. - Too few and too small elevators. This hotel has 11 floors and only 1.5 elevators (one is too small for luggage). In the busy hours they take several minutes to arrive and even then sometimes they're full and you can't get on. Frustrating if you're on a high floor.
