Exceptional hotel. Great location. Five star staffPosted Aug 27, 2013
Location: Five minute walk to everything: Subway, museum, small cafes, great restaurants...etc.
This was a small gem in a big city. If this hotel existed in every city this is the only place I would stay. We have travelled extensively and we love these types of hotels. Smaller but with outstanding staff and facilities. The roof bar is excellent. Roof pool is small but all you need on a hot day to cool off. Nothing bad at all.

Hotel Urban- Great LocationPosted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: Service, Presentation, Locality
Cons: I asked for a room with a view- I didnt want to feel closed in and they couldnt accomodate this, no big deal my room was gorgeous anyway
Location: Seville Metro is close, lots of nice cafe's. Very close to 'Sol'- walking distance. Awesome bars close by.
Situated in the 'Posh' part of town, it is central to everything. Close to the Metro, and easy to walk to other neighbourhoods safely. I am a woman travelling alone and I ALWAYS felt safe. The staff were just lovely and couldn't do enough for me. Any request I had they met it with efficiency. If you are after comfort- this is your place :-) Oh, and they have delish lollies in the foyer for free! Sold me!

Trendy, a bit impracticalPosted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Urban is a beautiful hotel right near Sol, extremely convenient. Our first room had several problems though: sink didn't drain much, the air conditioner was way too loud, and the wifi didn't reach half the room. They let us switch the next day, but the front desk guy gave me a little attitude about it, saying the air conditioner and wifi would be the same, which of course they weren't. Our new room was very nice, no problems with the air conditioner. Wifi was still weak, but the wifi is weak everywhere in the hotel (I tested), like 10 kbps per second at most. The rooms look really nice, but walking to the bathroom at night with the lights off is extremely dangerous since every edge and surface is sharp. It's just very trendy but impractical. Overall I was very satisfied since it was a nice hotel with a great location for a decent price.

Great locationPosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was very modern but I had the feeling I am the only guest in there, it felt a bit abandoned. Never been in Madrid before and used the hotel as a stop over between my connecting flights. From the Airport you can take a yellow bus for 5 euros, that will drop you 5 minutes from the hotel. You also have the hop-on-off bus stop close by in case you don't have enough time to walk everywhere. The rooms are a bit on the smaller size but very modern and comfortable. I also got a complimentary drink on the arrival. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The hotel was lovely, the staff was helpful. The hotels in Europe should wake up to the fact that we Americans like ICE!

Exactly what we neededPosted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had been making our way from Paris to Barcelona and ended our trip in Madrid for food and leisure and it was spot on. Our hotel room was super chic and had wonderful AC and beautiful bath and overall the amenities were wonderful. The staff very friendly in a hotel that if it was in Vegas might seem super douche but not here - very friendly and helpful. The pool on the rooftop was stellar - I see some people have said it´s too small and yada - it is but IT WAS PERFECT!!! And to boot the super helpful and friendly girl that worked at the rooftop bar greeted us with a glass of REAL champagne upon arrival! No sparkling wine here the real deal which made an already special trip a little more special loved it

Great Hotel ! Modern trendy NYC Feel.Posted Aug 12, 2013
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Urban. The staff was great and the appearance of the interior was cool to say the least. It is centrally located being within walking distance of all that the Center of Madrid has to offer. My family had the opportunity to use the rooftop pool and patio area. They offered a nice view of the city. When using a rooftop pool, having experienced others in other cities, you expect the pool to be a comfortable size but not large. My kids still enjoyed it. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Fabulous location - very trendy boutique hotelPosted Aug 7, 2013
Gorgeous hotel, with lovely rooms (small but as expected for a big city). Nice bars, restaurant and communal areas. Food/cocktails were excellent, although a little pricey.

Lovely hotel in great locationPosted Aug 6, 2013
Gorgeous hotel in a fabulous location only a short walk from the main sights. The pool is wonderful to have in a city centre hotel. The concierge/reception staff were very helpful in booking and recommending restaurants etc. Slight niggles - aircon in our room not cool enough and we were charged 5 euros for them to bring some ice and additional glasses to our room! Overall though, really excellent and very good value for what you get
