Very central...possibly a bit noisyPosted Jul 12, 2014
Location: In the centre of Gran Via, central to most things in Madrid.
Enjoyed staying here, though it happened to be on the same evening a concert was going on outside (probably doesn't happen all the time!). Room was great, views from the roof are fantastic, staff helpful.

Central hotelPosted Jul 9, 2014
This hotel is located in the centre of Gran Via, amidst the shopping streets and close to the metro station. Good restaurants close by and great for a stroll in the evening.

Good value for money in central MadridPosted Jun 4, 2014
Cons: Possibly a desk and chair as working with my laptop on the bed is back-breaking.
Very good experience. This is the second time I've been to this hotel and would stay again. Staff are courteous and the location is excellent - right next to Callao metro stop.

great location, and hotel not bad for a 4 * hotelPosted Apr 27, 2014
Pros: most of their staff spoke English. perfect location. clean. great view.
Cons: mirrors in the room would be nice. And a chain lock on the door.
Location: perfect location. shops and cafes just down the street. and if u go to the right, you will go down another area full of shops and restaurants,.
room was a bit small and not enough lighting in room, and especially in the bathroom. there were no mirrors in the room, only in the bathroom. hairdryer was under the cabinet under the sink. no coffee-maker in room. staff were very friendly and surprisingly all knew English. very kind and helpful. people in Madrid don't care about service, so the staff here surprised me with their friendliness and helpfulness. view was great location was perfect, you walk right out into Gran Via, city centre. I tried their breakfast once. place was nicely decorated and clean. Very big and nice variety of food and drinks. but low quality. There was a never-ending buffet to choose from, but nothing tasted nice. wasn't worth 15euros. lots of nice cafes right outside the hotel to eat at.

Golden Wedding Anniversary GiftPosted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: The location is excellent - it is a landmark of Madrid and worthy of the name. It is modern, stylish and comfortable, and the staff very helpful.
Cons: A little bit of TLC and a touch of paint in a few spots but nothing major!
Location: Perfectly situated, within walking distance of everything you need and want to visit. The Metro and tour buses are on the doorstep!
I had stayed at the hotel last year and thought it would be an excellent place to take my Parents for their 50th Wedding Anniversary ... and I was right! I upgraded the room to Executive and it was really worth it - they overlooked the Grand Via and while they did not have a terrace, the view was excellent. The hotel staff were very helpful and delivered a complimentary bottle of bubbly and glasses to their room on the day of their Anniversary. The hotel is perfectly situated across from El Corte Ingles and within walking distance of virtually everything including the Royal Palace (a must visit), the Prado and the Plaza Major. Also the metro and tour buses are only a 2 minute walk away, providing all the access you need. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel, the location and the city to anyone after another very enjoyable experience for me and a very special memory for my Parents! Thank you and happy travels!
