Mae Sot Vacations
Bangkok, the national capital, is located 240 miles (386 kilometers) southeast of Mae Sot.
It's no surprise Mae Sot is such a hotspot for travelers from all over the world; the surrounding region is criss-crossed with wonderful cities, attractions and landscapes. Roughly 1 mile (1. 6 kilometers) away lies Mae Sot. Set aside a day here to discover the Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University and Wat Thai Wattanaram Temple.
There's no nicer way to learn about Tak than tasting the local produce. Visitors who are not used to drinking alcoholic drinks will can order North Thailand, a common drink here.
One of the best parts of exploring this amazing planet of ours is learning languages you aren't familiar with, so invest the time to pick up some rudimentary Thai during your stay. An example of a hand local sentence is "Yàak dtên ram măi?" (Would you like to dance with me?). You'll find that learning "Kun maa jàak tee năi?", which translates to "Where are you from?", can really make you look good.
Be aware, if your plan is to be in Tak around the 5th of December, Birthday of King Phumiphon is celebrated then and many businesses may have changed opening hours.
When it's time to leave this special place, say a fond Laa gòn ná (farewell) to the people you've got to know and the spots you've enjoyed.
