Short walk from Takasaki station. Staff were able to communicate in English. I asked for extra pillow, and was surprised by the many options available - soft, hard, down, etc. Was really impressed by the customer service of the front staff.

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient for Takasaki Station (7 minute walk with heavy suitcase). Gave me a nice map with details of nearby restaurants. Even got a free beer at recommended yakinikku.

Very cute hotel that's slightly nicer/more modern than the other options near Takasaki Station. The staff is super friendly and willing to help! Be prepared to speak to them in Japanese, though.

the best hotel stayed in Japan
A good/ free SPA/ Hot Spring on the 10th floor. Large and nice room. Nice and complimentary snack available as well. Free laundry as well. Everything is perfect for this time stay.

Room was decent ! Apparently the hot spring is great but I passed because I was a solo traveller and there was a big sign in the elevator saying "No Tattoos" ... lol

Very standard dormy inn facilities. Okay onsen , bf doesnt change at all and gets boring. One of the older dormy hotels.

Rooms smells like an ashtray!!! hard to sleep when your room is so smelly. Rooms are small. Bath on the top floor is nice.

Good location
A few blocks from the train station. Onsen on the top floor. Good breakfast buffet and complimentary 1/2 ramen portions in the evening. Decent wifi.

I often stay at hotels of dormy inn groups and this was as good as others. The room was clean, cozy, and well functioning, the breakfast's also good. But I think that the temperature of hot spring and sauna was a little low to me.

Good outdoor onsen
Room is clean. Surrounding is quite quiet, not much activity around, so glad that only stayed 1 night. Should have chosen somewhere nearer the JR as venturing out to other places. Had the onsen to myself at night, very peaceful

Cozy hotel at a low rate
This hotel is about 8-10 minutes walk from Takasaki JR station, it offers a great onsen on the top floor with a pretty good breakfast.The room rate is low even during Christmas time.

Everything I have come to expect at dormy inn. Awesome baths, good wifi, huge breakfast, yummy noodle snack. It's perfect for a solo traveler on a budget.

Dormy Inn is a mini Westin!
We stayed here because the onsen hotels were all booked due to the 3 Day Weekend. It's a "business hotel" with a splash of onsen. Super clean. Great public bath. Creative breakfast and nightly bedtime bowl of noodles included in the price. Enjoy!

清潔で居心地が良い
所用で、前日に繁華街にある温泉付きのホテルというのが気に入り予約しました。スタッフの対応、温泉後のアイスやヨーグルト、夜の半ラーメン無料サービスなど、心配りのある居心地のよいホテルでした。夕飯は、近くの繁華街に美味しそうな店が沢山ありよい時間を過ごしました。

コンパクトで快適なホテル
コンパクトで快適なホテルでした！清潔な温泉（沸かし）とサウナがあるのが魅力。他の（泊まったことがある）ドーミーインと比べると、風呂そのものは狭くて、露天風呂1人、室内風呂1人入る感じかなぁ…女性2人だと気まずいかも…と思いました。幸いにも空いている時間帯だったため快適でした。
