Terrible place to stay!Posted Jun 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
The worst place to stay. The man at the receptionist desk was unforgivable rude. We booked our room online at 1030pm not knowing that reception closed at 11 because it was not stated that way in the website..We were almost an hour away and also hit detours on the way over. We didnt arrive to check in until 1140- not at all our fault since we were on our way over and had no idea we would hit detours on the way. We also did not know that reception closed that early. The man at the desk was heated and yelled at us for not being there on time- as if we knew the closing time . He made it seem like it was our fault. Then he said he was not able to go home because we booked our room so late and came late. He also charged us 10 euro on the spot - a late charge. If reception closes at 11 it should be stated on the site and we should not be able to book a room so late. Furthermore, we should not be yelled at and charge a late fee for conditions beyond our control.. The room also smelled and was uncomfortable. The location was terrible and hard to find. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The price is not worth it!

You get what you pay forPosted Feb 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Cheap and cheerful on the very outskirts of the city, it's fine if you just need somewhere to sleep on the way somewhere but wouldn't recommend it for anything else.

Although they were undergoing renovations upon our arrival the hotel had all we needed. It's on the outskirts of Magdeburg, but public transportation is no problem getting to. They have a breakfast for €6 which consists of bread, jam, butter, nutella, coffee, snack bars and bagels. The showers and bathrooms were a little sketchy, they made you feel like you were in an airplane bathroom/shower. The rooms were rather cramped but they served their purpose. The room comes with a small old TV and a sink. Overall it was a pleasant stay considering it how cheap it was! I recommend it to budget travelers or passer-bys.
