The Ivy is close to everything yet on a quiet street. The property is very modern, love the flat (large) on the wall angles to the bed. Bathroom had his and her sinks separate bath tub and shower which I like. The rooftop bar was great. The only negative comment is that room safes that you can pick up and walk away with defeat the purpose of a safe. Everything else was excellent room furnishings stfaf etc

WE SPENT FIVE DAYS IN CHICAGO AT THE HOTEL FELIX. I REALLY LOVE THE HOTEL AND STAFF. IF I COULD CHANGE ANYTHING I WOULD ADD A REFRIGERATER TO THE ROOM. IT IS A BOUTIQUE HOTEL . IT IS SMALL BUT GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES. WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN WHEN WE VISIT. IT WAS CONVENIENT, WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO A LOT OF PLACES WE WENT.

Ohio House is clearly a relic of the 50s-60s. But don't let the word "relic" scare you away. The architecture may be quaint, but the rooms have been updated and remodelled, and though smallish they are perfectly clean and comfortable. The front desk staff is personable and helpful. When I stayed there, the motel coffee shop was closed, but the motel is near many touristy places to eat: the Rock 'n' Roll McDonalds, Rain Forest Café, and so on. The motel is a few blocks from stations for all the major train lines, and Lasalle is a major artery, so catching cabs is a snap. of course one benefit of Ohio House is free parking. Given the price of parking garages in Chicago, this is a significant savings opportunity for people driving into the city.
