Clean, convenient independent hotelPosted Jan 16, 2014
We arrived on a late flight into Porto, luckily we used a map app to check the address, it showed a different location than our expedia printout. It was a good 10 minutes walk with cases. It's very close to the hire car yards, so it made it very convenient the next morning, no need to go back to the airport kiosk. Although there is a maddening one way system, so take your suitcases when go to collect your car. It is a small hotel in the small town tradition. Breakfast bar in the reception area. Basic continental breakfast, Portuguese style coffee. The free wifi was only available in the reception area, not in the room - it was pretty slow. But generally Internet doesn't seem to be very fast in Portugal. If you get the option hire a 3G hub from a car hire place. Well worth it. The room was simple and clean. The bed was hard. One of the bulbs in the bedside lamps was broken and the tv remote battery was flat. For the price it was acceptable and serviceable. Mainly for the closeness to the car hire and airport and it's cleanliness.

Walking distance to airport even with luggagePosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: Helpful Maria, clean, big room, walking distance to metro (3 min) and airport (less than 10 min)
Cons: Swipe cards for the room doors. The key and heavy tag can make alot of noise.
Location: Easy walk with luggage to airport. An even shorter walk to the metro stop
Maria the receptionist, very friendly, courteous, helpful, spoke English. The room was large, the bathroom about the same size! The hotel is very clean. No lift, so be ready for the stairs. A bit noisy on my floor, through out the night, people must have been coming and going (as the hotel is at the airport). Breakfast (continental) would get you thru to lunch. Not only is the hotel close to the airport, but, the metro stop is just around the corner (3 min ). The metro ticket machine has an english button. But, if in doubt, ask Maria from reception.

It is not more than a B&BPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: The conveniente location close to the airport
Cons: There is nothing more to offer rather than a bed and parking.
Location: There is nothing to do close to it, it is located just almost walking distance from the Porto airport.
It is very hard to find it and it is just a B&B it is a little bit noicy and not by the planes just by the people and cars traffic

Convenient but crampedPosted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: Close to airport; they let us check in early
Cons: Better sound-proofing
Location: We took the subway into Porto.
It is walking distance to the airport but the beds were uncomfortable, there was no sound-proofing (so we heard people coming in late at night) and the room was quite small (but the bathroom was huge -- go figure). We had an early flight so did not try the breakfast since it didn't start until 7:30 a.m. It served our purpose, and they let us check in early. We did have to stop at the car rental to ask directions since we couldn't find it on its own. It is signed with a different name, which was rather confusing. We had to ask to make sure we were even at the right place.

Close to airportPosted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
The young lady at the check-in was very nice, insisting on carrying our suitcases up the stairs to our room. The room was small but clean and OK. Sound of TV through the walls was a distraction for an hour, but that stopped. The wake up call in the morning was forgotten, but we were awake anyway. The airport is within an easy walk. The breakfast of ham, cheese and buns was OK.

Perfect location. Small hotelPosted Jul 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Super close to the airport and cheap. Pretty much outweighs all the downsides (tiny room, single power outlet, noisy street). We booked it because we landed at 2330 and just wanted a shower+bed before leaving for the city center in the morning. Staff was very nice and even took our luggage to our room. Would definitely book for very early or late flights.

wrong locationPosted Jun 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stay was fine for overnight stay after late flight. Decent breakfast served between 6.30- 11.30. However the location shown on the hotel.com website is incorrect. They show a hotel called pedras rubras, when in fact this hotel is on rua pedras rubras, on the other side of the airport. Was a bit of a pain in the neck going to the wrong location late at night when you just want to get something to drink and get your head down
