Very Nice

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Very clean & well maintained. The buffet breakfast was excellent and worth the 7 euros/day.
Cons: Other than the breakfast buffet, we found the onsite restaurant to be a bit pricey.
Location: Beach is a good hike down a steep hill. Other than the onsite facilities, there isn't much to do if you don't have a car.
Lovely facilities, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to assist. Although it is located directly off the highway exit, there isn't much around other than a few restaurants (excellent & reasonably priced) and so it is really necessary to have a car.

Friendly spacious hotel in excellent position

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Good points: spacious well equipped rooms, we paid £74 per night at Easter for a one bed apartment with separate lounge and kitchen area. Public areas very clean and comfortable they even had a log fire burning in the lounge. Breakfast was only 8 euros each and was outstanding value with freshly cooked eggs bacon sausages tomatoes etc. TV in our bedroom got BBC1 and 2, ITV, Channel 4 with no problems even though the 5 star Marriott round the corner is unable to do this. Shopping centre and plenty of restaurants less than 5 minutes walk away. Not so good points: Entrance to hotel car park is rather hidden and not well signposted, our apartment had quite a lot of sand on the floor making it gritty to walk over, the heating and AC controls were difficult to find with no instructions left in the room, we had to call reception to ask how to use, they responded immediately, it was then fine. We were not able to get the TV in the sitting room to work at all, doubtless they would have showed us how, but why not leave an instruction sheet in the room? Overall a surprisingly good hotel, very good value, and thoroughly recommended.

Sehr schöne Ferienanlage

Posted Apr 6, 2015

It's the second time we stay here. Everyone is very nice. The apartments are very nice, spacious, clean and very practical. Great for families wtih children. Accross the road (very easy to get there since there is an overpass) there is a good supermarket, other shops and restaurants. In all, it is a nice and convenient place very well run.

Enorm leilighet med bra beliggenhet

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: Størrelsen på leiligheten! Enorm!
Fine uteområder inne i komplekset. Bra frokost! Anbefales!

a bit cold in february

Posted Feb 28, 2015
Pros: staff friendly; pool table outdoor balconies sitting room in apartment & basic kitchen area sauna
Cons: quite a lot - see above
Location: bridge a bit scary to cross if vertigo;one or two good but basic restaurants and a few pricier ones;taxi into Marbella expensive;Beach the best part
nice hotel, but in process of winter/spring refurbishment, scaffolding up indoor pool very cold apartment nice - whirlpool bath not working but fixed promptly an odd location - on a roundabout with bridge across to supermarket, shops, restaurants - well outside Marbella. Short walk to a good beach A mixed bag overall Breakfast fun with cava! Evening menu small & with odd combinations - ok if hungry

Large apartment

Posted Feb 5, 2015
We arrived late due to satnav issues (look for Don Carlos hotel). Nice staff, pointed us to super market that's 400meters away opens late 00:30 and there are restaurants in same location. Wonderful large apartment loads of space and mode cons. We only stayed the one night but would happily return.
