“Tired and bored”

Staff had a very detached and bored attitude. The hotel is very clean and the linen is good.......but, oh those beds! Old sprung mattresses that sag and creak. A good night's sleep is a primary requirement at any hotel, sadly, until the beds are replaced, this condition will not be afforded by the Diana Park Hotel.

“I wouldn't go back.”

This hotel is very clean but basic. No tea making equipment in the room. The beds are fairly hard,and after a few nights become uncomfortable. Very near the busy dual carriage way, so not a relaxing place to sleep, as the traffic runs almost all night. We will not be going back!

“You get what you pay for/ NOT for the disabled.”

This hotel is suffering from a distinct lack of maintenance and needs updating. The beds were not good with the metal springs "boinging" every time you turned over. The air conditioning broke down and was not repaired when requested but on the second night we were offered a different room but no help in moving our stuff. I'm disabled and my daughter had her arm in a cast. The cost was reasonable for a 3* hotel in the middle of August so perhaps we shouldn't grumble too much. The hotel claims to be suitable for the disabled but the only ramp between the hotel proper and the rooms was so steep that it would be extremely dangerous in a wheelchair. It was necessary to queue to get into breakfast, which was good. The dinner buffet looked so dire we didn't bother trying it. On the plus side the atmosphere in the hotel is friendly with lots of Spanish families staying, the pool is good and not over crowded and there are plenty of free sunbeds. There is a good range of restaurants and shops just 200m from the hotel.
