Nice hotelPosted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: The layout of the hotel and entertainment was very good.
Cons: Add heating to the outdoor swimming pool! Or allow guests to use internal pool without a cost.
Location: Good location just outside of the centre and close to the A7.
Nice hotel, near the beach with good quality food

review ,some negative points, TV only news channels available in English!!! Tea coffee making facilities in the room would be nice, could of used room service, it was available. bath robe would benefit the traveller. Door lock to the balcony was broken!!! was fixed when reported to staff also extractor fan in the bathroom not working. Staff in restaurant seemed to be rushed, lack of numbers. pleased that I had booked a car at the air port, some walking required to get into town

a well situated hotelPosted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: The position and the breakfasts. A good standard of room with very helpful staff.
Location: On the beach about 1 mile from Estepona harbour (lots of restaurants). A drive to Puerto Banus and Marbella. Mijas is a good trip for the morning.
We were greeted with a glass of cava and given an upgrade to a sea view room on the top floor. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We were booked for 6 nights bed and breakfast and the choice of food was immense and of a high standard. The room was comfortable and clean with an excellent balcony with views of Gibraltar. Though we had a hire car we mostly walked to Estepona harbour in the evenings and visited a new restaurant each time. We also appreciated the beach walks and the fact that there are lots of sunloungers both near the pool and also on the roped off area on the beach. We visited Seville by car which is an easy 2 hour drive to the metro station at Olivar de Quintos.(well worth it). The Cathedral and Real Alcazar especially. The overall experience was very good helped by 6 days of sunshine.

autumn breakPosted Oct 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Its hard to find fault with this hotel...we enjoyed our stay. Only minor whinge was price for water at diner when they give away alcohol at breakfast..I guess thats business these days ! I would recomend this hotel to most although not much to entertain the 7 to 18 year olds.

Fabulous foodPosted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: The food
Cons: Lack of sunbeds and lack of tables to dine outside - mainly as they are 'reserved' for privalege guests
Location: OK. Need a car to get about although port a short stroll away. Good for the market
The hotel and grounds are lovely, as is the pool and the beach. The area cordoned off on the beach for the hotel guests is small and would benefit from being increased. The food is superb and range of drinks very good. The availability of sunbeds during the day is not good. By 7am nearly ALL of the sunbeds were reserved - some people reserving from the previous night and this includes those on the beach. If you are are travelling with children, the kids club seemed to cater for many however if you are traveling in an adult group, the childrens entertainment can get a bit much - particularly when childrens entertainment is put on at 10pm in the main hotel bar some nights!

holiday breakPosted Jun 14, 2013
Pros: good size rooms and the view
Cons: hard beds and the stairs to breakfast.
Location: fair but would of liked to be closer to the main area
overall a fairly good hotel, but the beds where very hard and uncomfortable, and there was no lift down to the breakfast room,so having knee problems made it very difficult to get up and down all the stairs, food was good and the service also, and very clean,

Great place to relaxPosted Jun 7, 2013
Pros: Relaxing great base for a great week away
Location: Quite far from anywhere, you really need a car to get to the good places.
The hotel is great base for a week away. You really need a car, due to its location as Estapona town is about 3 miles away and there aren't really any great restaurants there. The hotel itself is beginning to look a little tired and the drinks are expensive, however, we had a fantastic time by the pool and the staff were lovely and helpful. Good relaxing holiday overall.

could have been betterPosted Apr 21, 2013
Pros: very nice rooms, with great sea views (if you request this) wonderful comfortable and enormous beds great access to the beach great views from terrace bar Cons: overwhelmed staff swimming pool only open from 10-6 fitness center only open from 11AM lack of vegetarian sandwiches in the bar when restaurant is closed spa is a bit disappointing (not worth paying extra for it unless it's part of a deal) breakfast buffet also disappointing--very bad nescafe-style powdered coffee, funny tasting english breakfast, but a very good selection of baked goods.
