very noisey

Posted Sep 1, 2008
We were unlucky, we had a room over the front and therefore the disco. The music finished at 1 a.m, not all rooms were in this area. The pool was lovely but very noisey with anouncements all the time, the food was average but it was a 3 star!

Great place

Very original, clean, great food, close to the beach, San Pedro, Marbella. Can get anywhere by bus( Ronda, Sevilla, Malaga) If you go to Morocco, do not take a tour, just do it on your own from Tarifa. The old city is just up the street from the port. I found it safe and regret going with the group. Will go again!

Not terribly Impressed

Posted Sep 26, 2005
Hotel does not live up to the pictures on the website. Rooms are clean but very very basic not really much in the way of comfort. Staff do not speak English. Pool is nice but downside is it is across a small road outside the entrance to the hotel (not in the grounds). Breakie/dinner included so good value for money (dining rooms bit gloomy) nicer in the evening - you can eat on the terrace. Maids are in a hurry to get you out - they came to change our bedding following breakfast at 10.00am when checkout was 12.00pm. They did this while we were in the room they then came back 1 hour later (11.00am) to try and clean the room while we were finishing our packing and showering to leave (very annoying)!! - All in all would not go back.

Beautiful hotel, but not too comfortable

Posted Jun 3, 2005
I really enjoyed the exterior and landscaping of the hotel, loved the pool, the dinner buffet was wonderful, and the price was great. However, the room wasn't very comfortable since the bed was too small for my tall frame and the furniture was not very nice. The sheets would pull right off all night and so it made it for a hard night's sleep. So it was fine for one night for the money, but I wouldn't want to stay there for any long term stay. The beach nearby wasn't bad but was kind of rocky, it is a good jumping off point into visit the beautiful city of Malaga however and see the sights there.
