Great budget hotel close to station and town!
Second stay at Hotel Agur visiting family in Fuengirola. Hotel is so convenient for the train and so close to centre of town. We booked on a budget and for that it’s a little rustic but it was clean, comfortable and convenient for what we wanted. Staff were friendly and helpful as well. They may well have even listened to my review last January about the unsafe hairdryer that I got during my last stay as this time around, I got a brand new one to use during my stay (with a small refundable deposit). The little cafe downstairs is still great value as well. My only gripe this time was the shower curtains are far too small. As a result, the high water pressure from our shower soaked the floor no matter how much we tried to prevent it, which in turn made the floor very slippery and even trickled into the bedroom as well. Apart from that, it’s a great little hotel.

The lady on reception was excellent. Early check and upgraded free of charge. I had one issue in the room and they had a person there within a minute. Ideal location for shops bars and seafront.

I have been a regular business guest at Hotel Agur for several years. Unfortunately I note that they have removed the peaceful, free, guest-only breakfast room, with is excellent coffee. They have replaced it with public cafe, both with internal and street access. For this change they lose a 'star' and future visits by me.

The place is nothing but quiet. I am not sure if it was my luck or this place is frequented by people whom have no regard for others. It seems there is no walls between rooms. I was disturbed by neighboring rooms that were fighting over the phone loudly till 2am or by another guest family who kids stayed up till 3am. I stayed at other hotels in the area and I had no issues.

Great little hideaway clean, quiet, lovely staff
This classic older style spanish hotel is super clean, reception staff, cleaners, waiter and waitrsses, kitchen staff, owner - everyone 100% friendly, helpful, hardworking, abd genuinely do a grwat job looking after guests. I would stay in the newer part of the hotel - the side with the lift, as the other side is older and less comfortable. Go for single beds - rooms are larger and you can put the beds together. We found this hitel at the last minute, ww yave stayed in the larger hotels along the front - more modern, bigger but noisier and room service no wgere near as good as the Agur for all the reasons above. We stayed 18 nights!

Excellent the guy on check in was great and really informative we arrived just before midnight after the firstt hotel appartment we booked was not answering and had issues with that. Definitely will use this hotel again and highly recommend. Thank you to the night porter for helpimg with a steady checkin process.

Pleasant stay
Had one night stay and it was fine. Bed was very creaky but surprisingly comfortable. Shower was excellent. The room was needing a little attention paid to it, it was a little on the tired side. The room we had was in the middle of the hotel so was nice and quiet. Towels were fluffy and clean. Would stay there again.

Air conditioning was amazing and kept room lovely and cool. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Had a lovely balcony, was a shame that there was construction work going on outside, but that's not the hotel's fault. Would definitely stay again, great value.

Great value, helpful staff!
The staff are very friendly and VERY helpful and will genuinely try and help with any question you may have. The hotel is very central and about a 5 min walk to the train station and a similar walk to the beach. Cheap accommodation in a great location.

Stayed here on numerous occasions, cant recommend enough. Friendly, clean affordable accomodation in a fantastic location. Good air conditioning and showers. It is a budget hotel but you get a lot more than you pay for. Will be back again soon

Good Value for Money - Central Location
The size of the bedroom was OK but the bathroom was very small. However the shower was hot and powerful. The room was surprisingly warm considering it was the middle of February. The staff were very friendly especially Andreas in the cafe/bar. The only negative I can think of is that our room overlooked a massive building site, but you can't blame the hotel for that. They didn't work the weekend so there was no noise. The workers started at 8am on Monday but that was the time that we set our alarm, as we were leaving that morning
