Hotel right on the beachPosted Oct 26, 2013
Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The resort itself is totally Spanish. Never heard another English speaking person whilst there. And due to the time of year it was very quiet with just a few restaurants open. However there were enough to try out and the staff in the restaurants were very helpful when it came to interpreting my pigeon Spanish!!! The hotel is basic enough but very clean and the staff all very helpful so you couldn't really ask for anything more than that. Be prepared for all the runners, cyclists and dog walking along the prom each morning and evening. But as I said before it's more a Spanish place for living than for tourists to visit. I had hired a car for the 6 days I was there as I wanted to drive into the hills. The staff were very kind and printed me off google map directions for where I wanted to go, and getting there was so easy. Driving in Spain with their fantastic roads is not a problem at all (and I am female with a female navigator!). I would visit this hotel and resort again without a doubt.

Great LocationPosted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Whilst the hotel is standard its location certainly isn't. Situated right next to the beach you literally step out the back doors of the hotel onto the sand. If I were to stay there again and a tip for all perspective travellers: Make sure you request a room on the back of the hotel for a perfect sea view.

Hotel in great locationPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: The room balcony, the bar, the location on the beach
Cons: a couple of the staff not very welcoming and in latter part of stay a very, very loud 3 person group in room next to me.
Location: A really nice place, very much a place for Spaniards at least in early July
The hotel was as described on Expedia. A great location directly on the beach just across a pedestrian walk area. No cars other than service vehicles. 'Miles and miles' of this walking area with many cafés and restaurants. The hotel staff were very helpful and lovely ( except for one); in fact charming and welcoming as well. The room somewhat small or rather poorly designed but perfectly acceptable with a lovely balcony looking straight out to sea. I only ate there once and that was ok but made much use of the bar for coffee and there great, helpful staff who very quickly knew exactly what I was to have as soon as they saw me without my having to ask. The bar area was nice but even nicer was being able to take said coffee and sit at tables outside. Didn't use nor see the gym so cannot comment. Would recommend both the hotel and the location and indeed am considering returning myself.

Beautiful viewsPosted Jan 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was a great place for the off season at a great price. Enjoyed the beautiful views on the patio and it was great to have free parking. The surrounding neighbourhood was a bit off the track and we picked wrong for dinner, but I'm sure it's a completely different place in the summer. Would definitely go back!

We did an overnight stay to see friends from the UK. Overall for what we paid it was good value. Breakfast for 9 euros per couple was the usual cold buffet but satisfactory. Right next to the beach and no problems with parking as there were plenty of spaces available on the main road by the hotel and no parking metres, Would stay again.

Awful place for elderly spanish people.Posted Aug 30, 2012
Awful. The hotel is for elderly people. Stuff doesn't speak English well. We booked four nights getting a room overlooking a busy road. When we asked for a see view room they said the hotel is fully booked which was not true as we saw one outstanding room which was somehow booked and kept only for one night presumably for Spanish visitors. We felt they treat spaniards with more care then us and when we tried to complain they switch to Spanish or tell us they don't understand us. Hotel is under a massive construction and apart from weekend you can hear a drill noise from 9 am.

Hotel OK, parking is an issue.Posted Aug 24, 2011 on Hotels.com
The hotel was as we expected, but our stay could have been ruined by a 200 euro parking fine. We were ticketed after having been told by reception that it was OK to park at the back corner of the hotel, where another car was already parked. Not OK at all as it happens, and the hotel were not really interested. We had to go the police station twice to plead our case, and were let off the fine - but the hotel staff were indifferent. As the parking at the front of the hotel is so inadequate, I would imagine this is not the first time guests have had a problem. Positives - room was clean and reasonably modern despite the 1970s feel to some of the public areas. Location right on the beach is fantastic, great views out to sea from the room and balcony. The resort is relaxed with good restaurants along the beach front. We would visit again, but not if we had a car.

Great beach hotelPosted Jul 10, 2011 on Hotels.com
Excellent location right on the beach!! Great ocean view and near beach restaurant. However, hotel is old and it was not a fancy one.
