Nice Hotel

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: See above....
Location: Great location. Stayed down road before so chose this hotel for location. Near to beach, port, shops and orange square.
Saw from trip advisor that if offered upgrade with sea view.....go for it. On screen in recption, rooms with sea view looked good but on arriving in upgraded room, had to peer round corner to get sea view! On mentioning to reception staff told only room available and rooms with better views would cost 45 euros extra and not 15 euros that we paid! Breakfast good and clean facilities. Pool lovely but told you could not reserve sunbeds as belongings would be removed.....this NEVER happened!! Entertainment - came back early one night as advertised that there would be some.....but did not happen - although advertised that day on screen in lift!

Great location, lovely hotel

Posted Sep 13, 2014
We went for 3 days to celebrate my friends birthday and just wanted a clean hotel near the beach. This exceeded all our expectations. The room was very modern & well equipped, pool area small but really lovely, staff were very attentive and location wise you couldn't ask for anything more, 5 mins from the old town & right on the beach. Would definitely go back .

Nice hotel next to the beach.

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Proximity to beach and Beach Club.
Cons: The lifts were sometimes slow.
Location: Take a catamaran ferry from Marbella to Puerto Banus marina to see beautiful boats, super cars and designer shops.....
Lovely week spent at hotel. Very close to the beach and within walking distance of Orange Square! We didn't pay anything extra for air conditioning, safe or beach towels - all were included in initial cost.

It's not the same as Hotel Fuerte Marbella

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Location.
Booked this hotel instead of Hotel Fuerte Marbella, it's sister hotel down the block because of misguided information that Miramar was better. This hotel is located on the same strip of beach, but does not have the refine characteristics of Marbella. We went to Marbella for their free flamenco dancing at night and the public spaces are much more refined. Also, upon check out, they asked for a voucher from Expedia. I did not know I needed a voucher since the other hotels that I made reservations for did not need one. They also gave may sister and her family a difficult time with their rooms upon checking in. Also, there were difficulties with the elevators before and during our stay. All in all, not quite luxurious. If you just want the location, it would be fine.

Excellent location

Wonderful stay, enjoyed the promenade. Very courteous staff and superb housekeeping. The breakfast buffet was the best part of the hotel. It, may be, is the best located hotel in Marbella!!!! Right on the beach. I'd recommend this hotel any day.

Nice hotel close to Old Town and the beach

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Great breakfast range - excellent chefs who prepare omelettes and pancakes to order at the buffet!
Location: The beach and Marbella old town are both very close. Puerto Banus is much further (about a 90 minute walk).
Nice hotel, conveniently located close to the beach and Marbella's old town. Breakfast was particularly good with lots of choice. Only slight disappointment is that you have to pay for the sun loungers on the hotel beach. The price includes a drink and snack though so make sure you ask the attendant for these. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We were told we had a room without a balcony so it was a nice surprise to find that we actually had a large balcony overlooking the road.

nice hotel. great location

great hotel, location great for beach and old town. breakfast buffet very good and rooms good. staff very friendly and helpful. pool area quite small, but access to beach area great and beach bar very good, great food and good service. I personally like to sit in some shade and some of the beach parasols were made of straw and had a few holes in. so I would prefer a fabric parasol instead, but that is just a personal view.

Not too bad

Posted Jun 24, 2014
0verall the hotel seems poorly designed with large empty public areas and too few lifts. Reasonable sized bedrooms but badly thought out bathroom space where the door hits the loo when opened. The toiletries and towels were cheap and quite unpleasant. Good selection for breakfast. Only managed to get a sunbed by the pool once despite notices that reserved unoccupied beds would have belongings removed - they never were. Consequently we had to pay for a sunbed in the hotel beach club every day. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Generally poor value for money and disappointing stay.
