Beautiful location and immaculate hotelPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Views and gardens
Cons: Maybe more easily available information about the local area and activities? (boat trips e.t.c)
Location: San Pedro the next town down has a lovely promonade, and obviously peurto banus is one not to miss.
We only stayed for a long weekend but would have loved to stay longer to experience more of the facilities, the only criticism would be that youhave to pay for a beach bed whereas the pool beds are free of charge which was a shame. The food in the beach bar/restaurant was lovely and the staff very attentive. Would love to return.

The only disappointing experience was the quality of beds.

Nice hotel, but far from the cityPosted Jun 23, 2014
Things I liked: Clean and nice hotel on the beach. Very nice breakfast area overlooking the beach. Things I did not like: taxi rate is 29 euro each way if you want to visit the city. The beach was not good for swimming. Cold water and stony beach. Swimming pool closes at 7:00 and jacuzzi needs spa access, which was not included with the my booking.

Excellent sea side hotel in quite areaPosted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Enjoying a glass of wine / beer on the terrace, with beautiful sea views.
Cons: See above
Location: We visited Estepona, Puerto Banus and Mijas. In prior years at the hotel we visited Ronda, Gibraltar, Granada, Cordoba. All worth driving to.
Went to the hotel third year in a row. Had a very good experience, part of an excellent holiday. Hotel is very nice in a quiet area close to Puerto Banus (rental car is recommended to be able to visit other resorts along the coast, nearby restaurants and also to easily access the hotel which is in a relatively quiet area in Guadalmina). An upgrade to a sea view room is a must to enjoy the full view of the sea side and the adjacent golf course from the room terraces. Breakfast buffet is very good, with a wide selection of breakfast choices (although the pastry selection could be fresher and coffee quality improved). There is a thematic dinner buffet in the hotel restaurant, different every day. We visited once for a seafood buffet (on Saturdays) which was excellent with a wide variety of fresh and tasty seafood dishes to sample. Pool is very nice and clean. Rooms are very clean, housekeeping is very good. Hotel bar and poolside bar relatively expensive compared to other places on the Costa del Sol. Would highly recommend (especially if you want some peace and quiet on your holiday, not just the clubbing/ party scene) and plan to return in future years as well.

Lovely hotel close to the beach and golf course!Posted May 11, 2014
Cons: The noise from the restaurant the sound of moving chairs is a distraction for guest staying in Room 6
Location: Beach, golf, shopping in Puerto Banus and not too far from the old Marbella
Brilliant hotel, location, beach, golf course, staff, restaurants - Just excellent. Only disappointment was the tapas buffet otherwise excellent. We are already planning our next stay at the resort for next year. Will tell everyone about our lovely experience.

Comfortable beach front hotel next to golf coursePosted May 9, 2014
Pros: Beautiful views, lovely peaceful location. Comfortable, good sized rooms. Breakfast on the terrace looking over the sea. Nice pool area.
Cons: Perhaps not having constant music played at pool area - would be nice to just hear the sea sometimes.
Location: Typical beach front location but near to Guadalmina golf club. Little bit isolated from other restaurants, bars, shops etc. Car needed to get about.
Pleasant relaxing time at hotel on the beach and 10th green of golf course - super views overlooking both. Lovely swimming pool area.

On beach, lovely golf coursesPosted May 4, 2014
Pros: The breakfast buffet
Cons: Free sun beds on beach again like they were 2 years ago. Same with the parking, should be free.
Location: Great golf, lovely beach
Nice rooms, although frogs are noisey at night if you have a garden view with pond 110 - 120 and above. Slight erratic service at lunch but overall friendly service. Clean rooms and friendly cleaning staff. Great golf courses, beautifully manicured. Well worth the slightly high price to play.

Gorgous hotel, awa from Costa del BritPosted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: Quality of breakfast, room size, pool area, cleanliness of overall hotel
Cons: Pool was FAR too cold at Easter. No one would go in it as it was too cold.
Location: Not much other than 3 or 4 restaurants within 15 minutes walk. Better have a car.
Gorgous hotel, go for the Sea View room as it has a great balcony overlooking the sea. Both bedroom and bathroom were nice and big. Huge King size bed. Breakfast fantastic with everything from Cava, juices, teas, cofees, pastries, cereals, hot food. Pretty much whatever you like and all nice quality. The hotel is quite far away from anything so I'd suggest having a hire car. Puerto Banus is 5 mins up the road and Marbella is only 10 mins by car. The pool area is lovely with comfortable beds. Only down side was that the pool was far too cold at Easter to swim in. Just a couple of kids were in it and most people that dipped their toe in opted not to go in. Hotel is right on the beach which is handy. We would stay here again. 40 minutes from Malaga airport and easy to get to.
