Just as good second time roundPosted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: The amenities, cleanliness, staff and service are better than some 5* hotels we've visited.
Cons: The room and public area aircon didn't really cope with 40 degree temperatures and some of the gym equipment was broken.
Location: Right on the beach at the end of a 7k promenade. Easy walk to loads of good restaurants overlooking the sea. Visit to Mijas a must
We stayed here last year and were very impressed with everything it had to offer. So much so that we booked another fortnight this year. It was a relief to discover that the facilities and service were just as good. We found it the perfect place to chill out around the pool, there were always plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for shade. The free beach towels meant we did not have to take our own and these could be changed on a daily basis. The staff were always polite, helpful and there were enough of them so you were never waiting long for what you needed. We would recommend B&B (the breakfast choice is amazing with eggs, omelettes, pancakes and crepes cooked fresh to order) as there are many good restaruants and bars in the town - bit of a hike (15-20mins stroll) but well worth it. If you can't be bothered going into town the pool bar serves very good food (at a reasonable price) until late in the evening - great if you got back from a day's travelling, and there is a buffet meal served in the restaurant - can't comment as we didn't try this but it looked good. It is a perfect place for discovering the rest of the Costa Del Sol, right on the main A7 with a bus stop outside. In case you are worrying about the noise, this is at the back and we couldn't hear it. All rooms overlook the sea and we would recommend you ask for an upper floor in the Ronda building for the best views.

This hotel ticked so many of our boxesPosted Jul 8, 2015
Wonderfully relaxing in a quiet part of Fuengirola. Great poolside with the a great sandy beach right in front of the hotel. All rooms had air conditioning with a sea view. Plenty of sunbeds availabe with a wonderful pool-side restauraunt & bar. Very pleasing staff, food very good with a huge choice. This was our third stay at The Beatriz Palace and it will not be our last. Ray (Surrey)

IF ITS COLD, THERE AINT MUCH TO DOPosted May 31, 2015
Pros: Rooms are nice.
Cons: Poor maintenance and it shows. Rust spots on the bathtub which had a cracked finish. Ceiling needed repairs, little things but noticeable.
Location: The a castle next door. Ruins, but interesting. Not much else.
My wife and I arrived at the hotel on Sunday around 1PM. The weather was miserable, turned rather cold with a lot of clouds threatening rain (I think it did too). OK, we are at a Spa, let's gets a massage. Nope, the Spa closes at 2PM on Sunday and is close on Monday too. Now I understand taking off Sunday, but the title of the hotel had in it,"Spa," you would think it would make a difference. Without the Spa, there isn't much else to do. It was too cold because of the weather. The castle next door helped pass the time abit, you're far away from town and the hotel had only one outdoor restaurant open, by the pool, which was miserable to sit at. The next day we learned there are other places further down the coast which were more diversifying.

Hôtel très bien situé, face à la mer.Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: Le calme et la situation.
Cons: Je n'en vois pas;
