Location excellentPosted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: The location.
Cons: The decor of the hotel is tired. One of the receptionists wasnt very friendly or welcoming. Having to pay a deposit for the remote control was odd.
Location: Beach very close by. A lovely pub called CK's run by very friendly English couple is across the road and great restaurants with great tapas near by.
Location was excellent. It can be very noisy at weekends due to a local night club and teenagers hanging out at the back of the hotel. Really nice bars and restaurants in the area and a great supermarket.

Hotel Jimesol NerjaPosted Dec 28, 2013
Pros: Value for money and friendly staff, plus its central location.
Cons: There were leaks in the hotel when it rained, with buckets strategically placed to catch it ! Bathrooms need thorough cleaning & more blankets reqd
Location: Beaches nearby, with plenty of art & craft shops, all within walking distance.
This hotel is central for shops & beaches and is very good value for money. However, it is fairly basic, with no bar or coffee facilities, so take a travel kettle with you. There is plenty to do for a short break, say four or five days. The views from the Balcon are spectacular.

Good location hotelPosted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: location and our second room. More a family and older peoples hotel for quiet holiday
Cons: Food could be changed more daily and served hot.
Location: easy for beaches and bars
We had to ask for a room change after 1 night cos of noise from hotel disco and street. Very nice staff changed our room to a better one and we were very happy with it. Rooms do vary a lot. Food could be changed a bit more and kitchen staff not willing to cook my egg to suit me. Location good in low season and only 10min walk to town centre. Would be too late night noisy from clubs and bars in the summer. All in all a very interesting town to visit and good Spanish hotel.

Room was small but clean, one half of hotel has balconies, our room only had view of a white wall. Pool was on the roof, adequate. Location was great, quick walk to many restaurants, beach, amazing views. staff was friendly and helpful. Rates were very reasonable. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

good value, very centralPosted Sep 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Hotel was very central,Hotel rooms extremely basic but clean and beds very comfortable breakfast very good with plenty of it every morning, its a great place to stay if your not looking for more upmarket Their were seven of us staying there for a wedding in Nerja .We wouldn't stay there again as it was simply too basic for us but it served a purpose and isn't the worst. Excellent value.

Lovely little hotel, typically Spanish.Posted Sep 1, 2013
Pros: We loved the hotel as it was so typically spanish and we really felt we were in Spain. Great location for the beach and bars.
Cons: If I am being picky, the beds could do with new mattresses and the rooftop area could do with a fridge where you can buy drinks.
Location: Very near the beach, bus stop just outside, lovely bars and restuarants near by. Definately prime location.
Nice hotel, fab location. The rooftop arear was a little shabby, no drinks available. This was a drawback as we liked to sunbathe for a few hours each day. Pool very small but ok to cool off. We went peak time so it was very hot with no drinks available. Rooms were cleaned every day and breakfast was basic but suited us. Waiters in dining room did not speak english and were not friendly at all. The receptionists spoke english and were all very helpful. No other english people in hotel, only spanish, but that did not bother us at all. We would definately stay there again as the location was perfect.

Short walk from main sightsPosted Oct 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel was situated about 5-10 min walk from Balcon de Europe, room was very clean if a little on the small side, staff were friendly also. Pool on roof but very small with adequate space for sun bathing.
